Heat Tracing - Pipe Applications
Self-Regulating Heating Cables
The BTV family of self-regulating heating cables provides the solution to freeze-protection and process-temperature maintenance applications. BTV heating cables maintain process temperatures up to 150°F (65°C) and can withstand intermittent exposure to temperatures up to 185°F (85°C). The heating cables are configured for use in nonhazardous and hazardous locations, including areas where corrosives may be present. Raychem BTV cables meet the requirements of the U.S. National Electrical Code and the Canadian Electrical Code. Self-Regulating Heating Cables
The QTVR family of Raychem self-regulating heating cables is designed for pipe heat tracing in industrial applications. QTVR heating cables can provide process-temperature maintenance up to 225°F and can also be used for freeze protection in systems having high heat loss. The heating cables are configured for use in non-hazardous and hazardous (classified) locations, including areas where corrosives may be present.
Heat Tracing - Roof and Gutter De-Icing
IceStop System
This system provides a continuous path for roof snow melt to drain from the roof through the gutter and downspout. This heat trace cable system is ideal for installation on: Roofs made from standard roofing materials including shake, shingle, rubber, tar, wood, metal and plastic, Gutters made from standard materials including metal and plastic, Downspouts made from standard materials including metal and plastic.
Heat Tracing - Surface Snow Melt
Raychem ElectroMelt System
The Raychem ElectroMelt System performs snow melting and anti-icing in concrete pavement. The heating cable`s output is reduced automatically as the pavement warms, so there is no possibility of failure due to overheating.
Pyrotenax MI System
Pyrotenax HDPE Jacketed Copper MI System is a copper-sheathed mineral insulated heating cable coated with a high density polyethylene for embedded concrete or asphalt snow melting applications. The series-type technology, inherent to all mineral insulated heating cables, provides a reliable and consistent heat source that is ideal for embedded snow melting applications.
