Design/Build

Design BuildATI can provide complete design/build services, whether engineer or contractor-lead. We offer single-source, integrated project delivery, thus providing a more compact project delivery schedule, better budget/change control, and better quality control than the traditional design-bid-build method of project delivery. Our design/build capabilities include the following: Fast-track design, Procurement of long-lead equipment, Acting as an owner’s representative, Construction management, Construction inspection, Complete design/build project delivery.

Industrial Waste Management

ATI appreciates the unique needs of industries. Our experience includes the completion of numerous projects for a multitude of industries with a focus on waste treatment, thus allowing us to begin project development immediately, reducing or eliminating the time and cost involved in getting familiarized with each production facility. Time and budget constraints often necessitate fast track activities, frequent meetings, timely project updates and expeditious decision-making. ATI handles each project budget and schedule with accountability and accessibility. Only tasks required to understand a problem and define a cost-effective solution are included in the project scope, thus minimizing engineering costs.

Municipal Wastewater Management

Public-Wastewater-ManagementWastewater treatment is a field that is constantly changing, especially in today`s more complex regulatory environment. Additionally, projects in this field often involve a range of disciplines not always found within one organization. At ATI, we maintain the staff and the skills necessary to undertake these increasingly complex projects involving environmental sciences, negotiations with regulatory agencies, rate studies, and traditional engineering, design and construction services. We have completed more than 100 wastewater facilities plans, capacity evaluations, and treatment plant designs for plants ranging in size from 50,000 gpd to 200 mgd. Specifically, Applied Technologies offers you municipal wastewater expertise and experience.

Transportation Engineering

ATI is helping to rehabilitate and improve our local and national transportation network by providing planning, design, and construction related services. The efficient movement of people and goods demands in-depth knowledge of design criteria and its applications. Our work in highway and road design encompasses a wide range of experience. We will work with you from project inception through construction, which proves to be especially advantageous on complex or sensitive transportation projects.

Water Management

ATI possesses the experience and capabilities necessary to assist municipalities and private utilities in developing the most effective solutions to meet their water supply needs. We provide a complete range of planning, design and construction services for water supply development, treatment, transmission, storage and distribution. In order to create the most effective water supply solutions, we have developed computer programs for a number of communities to hydraulically model their water distribution systems, enabling us to accurately and economically determine appropriate pipe sizes and pinpoint where to locate pressure control valves and pumping stations for maximum efficiency.

Structural Engineering

ATI offers an impressive structural engineering portfolio comprised of many different project types. Whether designing a water storage tank, a bridge, or a rocky façade for a museum exhibit, our structural engineers possess the knowledge and experience necessary to complete even the most unique of projects on time and to the most exacting standards. Every project team contains a lead structural engineer who is supported by the expertise of the entire Structural Department. During preliminary development of a project, our structural engineers provide advice and guidance to assure that the project utilizes the most economical materials and structural configurations. During the final design phase, our structural engineers complete the analysis, design, and specifications to produce a comprehensive bidding document and most favorable construction cost.
