Fume Extractor
Fumes are generated in various industry process like Laser cutting, Laser Marking, Plasma cutting, Welding, Chemical Laboratory, and also in chemical storage applications. These fumes hazardous to human health and should be effectively removed, Filtered and then passed to atmosphere. Fume Extractors or Fume Extraction System is a device or a set of arrangements to collect fumes from various processes via suction hood, transport it to filtering unit via ducts, and is filtered there and then passed to atmosphere. These fumes should be effectively captured and filtered before passing it to atmosphere as per Pollution Control Board norms, Occupational Safety norms to improve health, safety and productivity of employees.
Odour Control Scrubber
Odorous substances can be formed from industrial sources include both inorganic and organic gases and particulate. Many odorous compounds result from emissions from chemical processes in industries. Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S), mercaptan, organic sulphide, ammonia, amines, Sulfur, nitrogen and many VOCs generated in industrial process and in municipal waste treatment are the main content in various odorous substances. Though foul odor may not cause direct damage to health, toxic stimulants of odor may cause ill health or respiratory symptoms. So it is necessary to control the odor from industrial sources. Apzem provides a series of odor abatement systems. If the odor generating components is of low quantity and mostly of VOC’s, Apzem Dry scrubber / Dry adsorption system would be an economical option. If the amount of odorous gas to be treated is large and wet, then either single stage wet scrubber or a multi stage wet scrubber or a Wet & Dry combination scrubber or Bio-scrubber would be a more economical and feasible option.
VOC Scrubber
Apzem specialized to control voc impact by the following technologies Adsorption, Incineration and Condensation. Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) are a large group of carbon-based chemicals that easily evaporate at ambient condition itself. Most (scents or odors) are because of VOCs. The ability of organic chemicals (voc’s) to cause health effects varies greatly from those that are highly toxic, to those with no known health effect. While most people can smell high levels of some VOCs, other VOCs have no odor. Pungent odor is produced on many voc. The methodology is usually chosen depending upon the, Temperature, Composition and volumetric flow rate of the emission stream, Space constraints and also with great aspect of allowable Installation and operational costs.
Municipal Solid Waste Scrubber
The term municipal waste consists of various category of waste matters such as Biodegradable waste, Recyclable material, Inert waste, Electrical and electronic waste (WEEE), Composite wastes, Hazardous waste, Toxic waste and Medical waste. Such waste matters produce pungent odorous gas and particulate pollutants on incineration process and during landfills. These strategies are characterized either by a combination of material recovery and incineration, or by focusing mainly on material recovery and less on incineration. Either of these may be seen as quite effective in diverting waste from being land filled. In general for small quantity of municipal waste treatment or odor control, Apzem dry scrubber would be economical option. For High concentration or large incineration process, Combination of Apzem wet scrubber and Apzem bag-filter can be used for higher destruction/regeneration efficiency.
Hydrogen Sulphide Scrubber
Hydrogen sulphide is the major gas produced during all type of combustion activities. So it plays a vast role on all type of industries based on combustion. It possesses foul odor, very poisonous, corrosive, flammable, and explosive. So it is necessary to control h2s gas produced from industries. So it is very complex to choose the methodology because it depends upon the Temperature, Composition and volumetric flow rate of the emission stream and Space constraints. Apzem engineers have vast industrial experience on selecting methodology and to design anh2s scrubber. In general, for Low concentration H2S application installing an Apzem dry scrubber would be economical option. For High concentration installing Apzem packed bed scrubber using Sodium Hydroxide and Hydrogen peroxide as scrubbing solution would be an economical option. The other solutions are using Apzem Bio scrubber or using wet scrubber with aqueous metal sulfate absorbent scrubbing solution would also serves the purpose.

Portable Single Stage Wood Dust Collector
Single stage portable dust collectors are simplest and cheapest of our line of industrial dustcollectors and is predominately finds its usage in woodworking industries and its also called as wood dust collectors. As per NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) Codes and Standards, Wood chips / dusts are combustible in nature and should be collected and handled safely in wood shops, woodworking industries in order to avoid Fire and explosion risks. Also Prolonged Exposure to wood chips, saw dusts etc in a wood industries creates a serious health problems to workers. Portable Two Stage Mechanical Dust Collectors
Portable Two stage mechanical dust collectors are more efficient and lasts longer than any single stage dust collector . Here more heavier dusts are collected in drum by cyclonic action (first stage) and only finer dusts pass through blower impeller and collected in filter bag (second stage). Since most of the dusts are collected in drum before blower entry, the abrasive action of dusts on impeller and casing causing blower imbalance is very much negligible than single stage dustcollector. Cyclone Dust Collectors and Cyclone Separator
Cyclone Dust collector are Mechanical Separator using inertia effect & Centrifugal force to separate large dusts and useful particles in industrial applications. Cyclone dustcollectors is an air pollution control equipment used to remove large dust particles from industrial process exhausts. Cyclone Seperator is also same and uses centrifugal forces to collect useful particles in product recovery. Both are one and same, only application differs. The efficiency of Cyclone collectors is high with higher particle size and are normally used as primary collectors in multistage filtration application. In some applications, a properly designed high efficient Cyclone Separator with added filter bags or filter cartridges fitted at exhausts serves as a main collectors.

Packed Bed Scrubber - Wet Scrubber
Apzem Packed bed Scrubber are custom designed to capture sub micron particulate matter, chemical fumes, odors, and other water / chemically soluble fumes and Vapors generated in industrial process. All wet scrubber works on the principle of absorption technology, where the pollutants is made in contact with scrubbing liquid. The pollutants gets absorbed by scrubbing liquid either physical or by chemical means. The capturing efficiency of the scrubber can be increased by increasing the time of contact of flue gas with scrubbing liquid.
Venturi Scrubber
Apzem Venturi Wet Scrubber are custom designed to capture smaller dust particles, VOCs, chemical fumes, and other water / chemically soluble fumes and Vapors generated in industrial process. Venturi scrubber is a kind of wet scrubber and is of high efficient in comparison to other wet scrubbers at a higher pressure drop. Venturi scrubber works on the principle of absorption technology and venturi effect, where the pollutants gas and scrubbing liquid / water is made to pass through a confined throat where both comes in contact so closely at high velocity forming large number of droplets, there by creating large area for the particles to get absorbed to liquid droplets. The sizing of scrubber, Throat design, selection of scrubber solution, Material and inner lining is critical in designing Venturi scrubber for a particular application.
