Water Control Gates
Langemann - Water Control Gate
Invented by Peter Langemann, the Langemann Gate was developed through a cooperative effort between St. Mary River Irrigation District, Peter Langemann and Aqua Systems 2000 Inc. (AS2I). The Langemann gate, used in conjunction with one of AS2I’s controllers, provides solutions to a host water of control problems. The patented design has gained recognition due to its simplicity, overshot technology and low power requirements.
Hydra - LOPAC - Water Control Gate
The LOPAC gate was developed by Peter Langemann in the 1980s to assist tail end irrigators in managing widely fluctuating water supplies. A number of installations have operated successfully for the past couple of decades. Aqua Systems 2000 Inc. (AS2I) has combined the simplicity of the LOPAC with a hydraulic actuator to provide a flexible and economical solution to water control problems in small to medium sized canal.
Single Leaf Overshot Gate
The single leaf overshot gate is an overshot style gate that has been used in the water industry for close to 40 years. The simplicity of the design allows it to be cost effective and the overshot design allows for excellent open channel control. The cable drive uses stainless steel wire ropes for longevity and a machined drum drive for smooth cable operation. A self-locking gearbox ensures precise gate positioning without drifting.
Fabricated Side Water Control Gate
The fabricated side gate can be provided in an overshot or undershot style configuration and supplied with single stem or dual stem operators. The slide gates are made from stainless steel with UHMW slides, bevel gearboxes, and ACME threaded stems. The gates can be customized to fit existing structures or custom site requirements.
Water Trash Management
In-Line Screen / Trash Rack Cleaner
The Inline Cleaner can be readily adapted to large or small applications and configured to sweep a variety of different screens and trash racks. Unwanted trash can be swept out of the water with a reliable, low power, low maintenance, Inline Cleaner.
Side Sweep Screen Cleaner
The Side Sweep Cleaner can be readily adapted to large or small applications and configured to sweep a variety of different screens and trash racks. Unwanted trash can be swept off the screen and downstream with a reliable, low power, low maintenance, Side Sweep Cleaner.
Escalator Trash Rack/Screen Cleaner
Aqua Systems 2000 Inc. introduces the self-cleaning Trash Rack. This simple and flexible design can be readily adapted to large or small applications where trash problems range from surface debris to entrained plant matter. Unwanted trash can be swept out of water with a reliable, low power, low maintenance and self-cleaning screen/rack from Aqua Systems 2000 Inc. The Escalator Trash Rack has a clearance advantage for removal of large debris. It can also work in conjunction with Trash Deflectors for total canal cleaning.
Windmill Cleaner
The Windmill Cleaner is suitable for small pipelines and farm turnouts for flows up to 4000gpm. The Windmill cleaner is simple and effective and has proven to be durable with low maintenance requirements. Water weeds are swept from the vertical screen and downstream using a rotating brush wand. The windmill cleaner can be configured to sweep different types of screens and screen opening sizes.
Wiper Cleaner
The Wiper Cleaner is suitable for small pipelines or farm turnouts on screens that match the slope of the canal. The Wiper cleaner has minimal moving parts and is simple and effective. Water weeds are swept from the screen and downstream using a rotating cam/brush wand assembly like a windshield wiper. The windmill cleaner can be configured to sweep different types of screens and screen opening sizes.
Spray Bar Cleaner
The Spray Bar Cleaner is suitable for pumping stations and screens where AC power is available. The Spray bar cleaner is a rotating spray wand that washes the back side of the screen and forces debris from the screen surface. On pumping stations water from the pressure side of the pipeline may be used to run the spray wand for a simple and effective cleaning solution. A pump may also be provided to supply the flow required to run the spray wand.
