Water Leak Detection
AquaSmart - Water Leak Detection System
Water damage caused by burst or faulty pipes in your home can prove to be highly costly and disruptive. But many escape of water events are manageable or even avoidable with the correct technology in place. Flow-based water leak detection systems works by monitoring variations in the movement of water through pipes using a flow meter installed on your col water pipe just after the stopcock. When abnormal flow is detected, a valve automatically closes, shutting off the water and therefore minimising the extent of the damage to your property. It also triggers alerts such as an audio alarm, or text messages and/or emails to your smartphone, tablet or PC. With a smart water leak detection device, you can also remotely control your vale from anywhere in the world, as well as help you better understand your water consumption using our Flow Reporter web app. The below devices are designed to monitor the flow in an entire property, making them ideal for installation in any type of residence.
AquaGuard - Inline Water Leak Detection and Prevention Device
Example applications: Houses, apartments, small commercial units
Breeam
Breeam AquaPIR - Water Leak Detection Systems
The AquaPIRsystemhelps prevent water wastagefrom fittings, such as cisternsand taps, by shutting off the water supply when the room is unoccupied. Thesystem, which consistsof a passive infra-red(PIR)sensor and a solenoid valve,is specificallydesigned to comply with BREEAM WAT04 automatic sanitary shut-off requirements.
Aqualeak - Single-Zone Leak Detection System
Example applications: Schools, hospitals, prisons, commercial units, public buildings, office buildings and leisure centres.
Oil Leak Detection Systems
OilBug - Single Zone Oil Leak Detector
The OilBug is an economical method of identifying the presence of oil leaks and other substances. It uses a dedicated Redeye sensor, which employs sophisticated Optoschmitt technology to determine opaque liquids. Up to two Redeye sensors can be connected to this oil leak detector to enable more than one zone to be monitored simultaneously. When fuel oil is identified and the Redeye detects a change in the refractive index, the OilBug immediately goes into alarm. There are two versions of this product available: the BMS OilBug, which has no localised audio-visual alarm and connects to a BMS; and the OilBug+, with the same functionality but is fitted with a local audio-visual alarm on the panel. The OilBug operates from either the mains or an external 12 – 24 VAC supply.
Redeye - Combined Oil Water Leak Detection System
The Redeye 1 can simultaneously monitor for both complex liquids such as diesel and heating oil, as well as water. The Redeye 1 uses opto-electronic sensor probes, which identify a change in the refractive index of a surface area being monitored. When triggered, an audio-visual alarm is initiated. The Redeye 1 can be connected to a BMS, mechanical valves and pumps and/or alert a machine control system via relays. A battery backup is available to allow the system to remain functional after a power outage.
Aqualeak - Multi Zone Oil Leak Detection System
The RGO monitors for complex liquids such as fuel oil, as well as some chemicals and acids. The RGO offers coverage of up to 32 individual areas, utilising Redeye sensor technology, which identifies a change in the refractive index of the surface being monitored. When triggered, an audio-visual alarm is initiated and can be connected to other systems via two changeover relays. The RGO has a battery backup available, allowing the system to remain functional after a power outage.
Environmental Alarms
Temp Tek - Environmental Alarm Systems
An entry level, compact over-temperature detection system. Using one or more room temperature sensor, the Temp Tek can be configured to monitor for abnormal temperature activity between 0 - 30°C. When the maximum defined temperature is reached, the Temp Tek immediately goes into an audio-visual alarm. An alert can also be sent to a BMS or other systems, via a changeover relay. The Temp Tek panel can be located in either the room being monitored or externally.
Aqualeak - Over-Temperature Detection System
A compact and economical over-temperature detection system covering two or four separate rooms or zones. The system can be operated from a central point to set an upper and lower temperature band, between 5 - 30°C. When the adjustable temperatures are breached, the system triggers an audio-visual alarm, which specifies which zone has been affected. These devices can also be connected to other alert systems, such as a BMS, or initiate mechanical valves and pumps, via a relay. The panel can be located either in the room being monitored or externally.
Aqualeak - Multi-Zone Over-Temperature Detection Alarm Systems
A multi-zone over-temperature detection alarm that can monitor up to 32 individual areas. The OGW can also monitor for over-humidity in critical areas, such as server rooms and data centres. The system can be configured to set and adjust upper and lower temperature and humidity parameters. The OGW monitors temperatures between 5 to 30°C and humidity between 30 – 100%RH. In the event that the temperature or humidity goes above the user-defined maximum, the OGW will immediately go into alarm. This triggers an audio-visual alarm that can indicate which specific zone is affected. Changeover relays also enable the OGW to be connected to other systems, including a BMS and a telephone dialler, to alert that over-temperature has been detected.
