The AqualogicTM Automatic Batch Treatment System is a compact, automatic treatment system designed to batch treat 500-2000 gallons of industrial wastewater. Depending upon the reagent chemistry added and instrumentation provided, the equipment will treat mixed rinsewaters and process dumps for cyanide oxidation, chrome reduction, precipitation of heavy metals, solid dewatering, and removal of oils and greases, producing an effluent suitable for discharge to local sewers, according to permit regulations. The control panel houses an imbedded PLC programmed to sequence all process steps. A 5.7” touchscreen is mounted on the door for process inputs and process monitoring.

Aqualogic Compact Flow-Through Treatment Systems are modular, automatic treatment systems designed to treat industrial wastewater. at flows of 5-20 gallons per minute. The equipment will treat mixed rinsewaters for precipitation of heavy metals, solid dewatering, and removal of oils and greases, producing an effluent suitable for discharge to local sewers, according to permit regulations. The treatment module is a three compartment tank with full width overflow/underflow baffles to prevent “short circuiting” of effluent. Metering pumps are premounted on a shelf on the tanks and plumbed to the injection point on the tank. Mixers for each compartment are premounted. All wiring is connected to the control panel mounted on the module. The control panel houses pH instrumentation and a PLC programmed to control all process steps. An operator interface is mounted on the door for process inputs.

New Regulations Impact Industry The U.S. metal finishing industry is under a virtual mandate to minimize or eliminate discharges of wastewater to sewers and surface waters. The growing body of industrial experience has demonstrated that the most effective 0-discharge programs meet the following criteria: Recover process solutions and rinse water for reuse wherever possible. Purify and Recycle the waste stream at the source, rather than end of pipe. Convert formerly hazardous waste to a recoverable raw material. Reduce non-recoverable waste to a manageable volume for off-site disposal. Offer flexibility and reliability with a minimum requirement of maintenance.

Forced air blows through a cone of warmed atomized solution, evaporating pure water from droplet surfaces, and then flows through the chevron mist eliminator and out the exhaust duct as humid air. Chemically concentrated liquid is recycled to the heated reservoir tank.

Aqualogic Condensate Recovery Unit is designed to condense the water from atmospheric evaporator discharges and return the air to the Evaporator, providing a zero-emission closed loop system and eliminating exhaust stacks to atmosphere. The recovered water is typically suitable for reuse* as make-up or rinse water, depending upon requirements. The unit features the following components: Fabricated of ½” polypropylene, with Inlet and outlet transitions, condensing chamber, and condensate collection reservoir; condensate reservoir discharge pump and level switch for returning condensate to process.

Aqualogic develops integrated hoist systems for rack, basket, tray, or rotating barrel for new applications or for retrofitting existing manual or automatic lines. The Aqualogic side arm hoist operates as a manual, semi-automatic, and automatic hoist for use in cleaning, phosphating, hot or cold blackening systems, anodizing, chromate conversion coatings, ecoat, in addition to complete multicycle metal finishing processes.

The Aqua-Kleen rotary table type cellular cleaning machine utilizes environmentally safe cleaners to quickly degrease and de-chip machined parts prior to assembly, inspection, or painting. The work is loaded directly onto the rotary table or processed in baskets or on special fixturing where it is automatically washed, rinsed, and dried. Continuous 360o table rotation exposes all surfaces to the high pressure sprays, air jets, and dry cycle. Adjustable clip-on joint spray nozzles are provided to impinge on hard to reach surfaces.
