This premier event on Corrosion, will return to the same Latin land – Italy - where Pliny the Elder for the first time coined the phrase “ferrum corrumpitur”. Scope of the Congress is to present the state-of-the-art in the fields of corrosion and protection of materials, both from a technical-scientific as well as from a practical application perspective, starting from those used in the past to the ones destined to modern industry. The event is meant to foster the transfer information of and experiences among researches and operators in the fields of corrosion and to benefit from information, collaboration and common enrichment.
