Today direct intake is made from large water sources in order to meet the huge demand for cooling water or irrigation. The cooling water required by the production facilities or the fresh water to be taken from the rives or static water must first be mechanically treated specially. Special process equipment must be manufactured and installed in order to purify the water from sizeable particles that large water resources bring within during intake process. Also by choosing the proper type of equipment and its materials, the possible damage destined will be prevented. While manufacturing these Special treatment devices which are required for these operations in its own factory, Astim can also provide electricity, installation, start-up and automation services.

One of the biggest factors that increase the treatment plant operating costs is the disposal of sewage sludge. As in each waste, reduction the amount of sewage sludge at source and minimising the disposal cost is the greatest request of all companies. Choosing of the technology that produces less sewage sludge is the issue that should be examined and the disposal of the sludge should be made as a priority at the source.

Our company can supply different solutions by using various processes for the subject of odor removal which has become important nowadays. Foul odor from wastewater and wastewater treatment plants is usually caused by H2S, NH3, SO2, some volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and mercaptans. In additionally, ASTIM can offer special solutions for odors from industrial plants.

Anaerobic digestion is widely used as a source of renewable energy. The process produces a biogas consisting of methane, carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide and traces of other “contaminant” gases. This biogas can be used directly in combined heat and power gas engines, or upgraded to natural gas–quality bio methane. The nutrient–rich digestate that is also produced can be used as fertilizer.
