ATEX Dry Chemical or Hot Water Isolation Systems provide an effective means of isolating the flame front growth of an advancing deflagration. With the same features as an ATEX Suppression system they suppress the advancing flame front and mitigate the advancing pressure wave.

The explosion barrier valve range from ATEX includes passive acting, single-direction or bi-direction isolation valves, normally closed by the pressure wave of an explosion. Optional assisted action creates a trigger able fast-acting valve for applications with a risk of fast flame-front propagation.

ATEX’s Powder Advanced Inerting Suppression Systems offer multi-purpose, high efficiency suppressors, discharging non-toxic flame-extinguishing powder into the protected plant using fast acting non-explosively actuated valves.

ATEX Hot Water Advanced Inerting suppression system is an innovative solution to the complex problem of non-contaminating explosion suppression in large volumes especially suited to the Dairy industry. Superheated water is released under pressure to quickly disperse microscopic droplets over a large area creating an inert atmosphere which immediately extinguishes flame.
