Water Remediation System
The groundwater recovery system generally consists of the equipment provided by Atlas Environmental. The list below shows a few examples.Blower or air compressor (size based on pilot test results).Air operated or electrical pumps.Miscellaneous flow meters, totalizer, pressure gauges, valves, hoses, level controls.Sparging system that includes a simple blower connected to a manifold.Manifold for sparge wells with appropriate valves, pressure gauges and controls.
Soil Remediation
The soil vapors are extracted using a vacuum pump (blower) manifolded to the extraction wells. The air/vapors flow is then directed to a treatment unit. Atlas Environmental provides the customer with a selection of Catalytic or Thermal Oxidation and Activated Carbon. On request we can also provide systems using I.C. Engines fueled by propane (on sites with no electricity).
