Landfill Equipment
Rusmar - Self-Propelled Foam Generating System
This self-propelled unit is ideal for sites where the quick coverage of large areas is a top priority. The PFU2500/60 is self-contained and designed to meet the demands of applications where equipment is often left exposed to the elements. Foam is applied by our patented bi-directional manifold, optional hose reels, orboth. Climate-controlled cab provides superb operator safety and comfort and turns the task of odorand emission control into a quick, one-person operation.
Rusmar - Completely Self-Contained and Portable Foam Generating System
This completely self-contained and portable foam-generating system is designed to withstand even the mostrugged demands and harsh elements of remediation sites. Quick start-up time means that emission control is available when you need it. The PFU400 Pneumatic Foam Unit is recommended for small to medium-size remediation projects, dredging operations and hazardous waste sites, as well as small landfills.
Rusmar - Bulk Storage and Dilution System
Our bulk storage and dilution system is designed for tank-truck load quantities of RusFoam® products. The system allows for foam concentrate to be automatically diluted, metered and transferred into the on-board solution storage tank of a Pneumatic Foam Unit.
Foam Technology
RusFoam - Odor-Control Foam
RusFoam OC long duration foam produces a thick, long-lasting, viscous foam barrier for immediate control of dust, odors and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). RusFoam OC is recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, state agencies and major corporations as providing superior emission control for a period up to 17 hours. It has been specified for use at Superfund and other hazardous waste sites across the United States and Canada, and elsewhere in the world. RusFoam OC is designed for use with all Rusmar Pneumatic Foam Units.
RusFoam - Soil Equivalent Foam
RusFoam ADC long duration foam is a patented formulation that produces a thick, long-lasting, viscous foam barrier for immediate control of dust, odors, blowing litter, disease vectors and scavengers when applied to landfills as daily cover material. It is also an excellent choice for emission control at remediation sites where dust, odors and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are a concern.
RusFoam - Long Duration Foam
RusFoam LM long duration foam products (LM4, LM12 and LM20) produce an impermeable, flexible membrane that seals a surface to prevent release of emissions. RusFoam LM utilizes foam as a distribution method for latex. After the foam has been applied, the air bubbles begin to collapse and the latex cures to form a continuous flexible membrane that adheres to the substrate for long term control of dust, odors and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). RusFoam LM is designed for use with all Rusmar Pneumatic Foam Units. RusFoam LM is available in black, red, brown, yellow and green. Wintergreen or vanilla scents can be added.
Mining Foam Technology
RusFoam - Non-hardening Aqueous Foam
The greatest safety risk underground coal operators face is the accumulation of explosive methane gas. Traditional ventilation control methods include nitrogen injection, blowing and exhausting systems and curtains and seals. Rusmar has developed a non-hardening aqueous foam formulation that can supplement a ventilation plan by effectively forming a temporary plug preventing or directing the flow of gas.
RusFoam - Nitrogen Generated Foam
Rusmar brings you a new tool to add to your arsenal of safety practices and procedures: RusFoam® NG. This process involves the injection of RusFoam® NG into a sealed off area in order to displace gases, such as methane and oxygen, present in the area. RusFoam® NG is an aqueous foam generated with nitrogen that is engineered to persist sufficiently long to completely fill a sealed off area.
Pneumatic Foam Units
Atmos - Portable Pneumatic Foam Unit
The portable Atmos Technologies Pneumatic Foam Unit (PFU) NTC-8 is designed for easy towing without sacrificing any emissions-fighting power. And its quick start-up time means no waiting to get the job done. This palletized system includes the necessary pump, hoses, nozzles and Atmos’ proprietary foam-generating technology. It does not include a solution tank or air compressor. Given its versatility, the PFU NTC-8 is ideal for remediation projects, dredging operations, hazardous waste sites and odor containment at small landfills.
Atmos - Morooka-based Pneumatic Foam Unit
The Morooka-based Pneumatic Foam Unit (PFU) 2500 is a rugged, tracked vehicle built to traverse any working face’s rugged landscape, including the difficult, trash-laden slopes of most landfills. This self-contained foam-generating system is designed for large applications, including daily cover at solid waste landfills or large remediation projects.
