Atritor Limited products

The Atritor Dryer-Pulveriser has been in continuous manufacture for over 80 years. It has a unique design with pulverising occurring predominantly by attrition. The mill is a very compact air-swept flash dryer and temperature differentials of over 500°C ensure high evaporative capacity and thermal efficiency.

The Atritor Cell Mill is a highly efficient mechanical mill with multiple rotors mounted on a vertical shaft. The construction is modular, providing great versatility for customised design. It will produce material with mean particle sizes below 20 microns and can be fitted with an integral dynamic classifier if the control of top size is particularly important.

The Air-Swept Tubular Dryer is a new concept in drying technology. Manufactured in the United States, it will process anything from low solids slurries to low moisture powders. The flow of material through the dryer is controlled so that the product may be a fine, dry powder or a moist granular material.

In addition to its core business of providing drying, milling and classification equipment for the powder processing industries, Atritor Limited has recently diversified into the field of product separation for foods, household and industrial products, and related items.
