Large Animal Detection System
LADS is a first-of-its-kind, award-winning detection system designed to monitor the presence of large animals on highways and provide warning to motorists for as long as the animals remain in the monitored region. Its innovative design ensures robust detection and continuous monitoring capabilities. LADS runs entirely on solar power, requiresminimal disturbance to the pre-existing environment, and operates efficiently under harsh weather conditions.
Work Zone Safety System
AUG has developed a portable radar-based warning system to detect oncoming vehicles and warn drivers about active roadwork sites, ongoing accident clean-up and infrastructure maintenance. Based on AUG’s extensive signal processing experience, this system effectively warns on-coming drivers about upcoming worksites, alerts workers to vehicles approaching at unsafe speeds and records the necessary data to document unsafe road conditions and dangerous roadside incidents.

Triton - Intelligent Water Surveillance on TVO
On November 5th, 2015, Safe Water Project was introduced on TVO under the title, “How one northern project speeds up access to clean water.” With an active role in the project, AUG’s TRITON – Intelligent Water Surveillance™ was described as a mobile monitoring system that allows the water treatment operators to remotely monitor drinking water quality in real-time. AUG is very proud to support the Safe Water Project in cooperation with Keewaytinook Okimakanak (KO) tribal council and help the First Nations communities to enable safe drinking water.
