The AXYS 3 Metre buoy is a very capable and rugged metocean platform that can be configured with a wide range of sensors for monitoring meteorological, oceanographic and water quality parameters. The 3 Metre buoy’s long term operational life and its substantial reserve capacity make it an excellent offshore metocean platform.

The AXYS WatchKeeper™ buoy is a 1.7m diameter polyethylene buoy designed for deployments in coastal areas, lakes, reservoirs and rivers. The WatchKeeper™ hull is internationally proven as an aid to navigation (AToN) and can be deployed in water depths from 20m to 500m.

The AXYS NOMAD is a unique aluminum environmental monitoring buoy designed for deployments in extreme conditions. The NOMAD (Navy Oceanographic Meteorological Automatic Device) is a modified version of the 6m hull originally designed in the 1940’s for the U.S. Navy’s offshore data collection program. It has been operating in Canada’s Weather Buoy network for over 25 years and commonly experiences winter storms and hurricanes with wave heights approaching 20m.

The TRIAXYS™ Directional Wave Buoy is a precision instrument incorporating advanced technologies that make it an easy to use, reliable and rugged buoy for accurate measurement of directional waves.

The TRIAXYS™ with Currents Buoy measures both directional waves and a 3D water column profile of ocean currents in real time. The buoy is based on the proven TRIAXYS™ Directional Wave buoy platform, but has been modified to allow the integration of a current profiler in a downward facing configuration.

The TRIAXYS™ Mini Directional Wave Buoy is a precision instrument incorporating advanced technologies that make it an easy to use, rugged, and economical buoy for accurate measurement of directional waves. This small (0.6m diameter) and lightweight (60kg) buoy is easily deployed by two people from virtually any size of vessel.

The HydroLevel buoy accurately monitors water level elevation in any body of water. HydroLevel™ is a precision instrument incorporating the latest GDNGSS and motion sensing technologies, making it the leading solution for an accurate, easy to use, rugged product for the measurement of water elevation.

The AXYS Port Sentinel™ is a self contained and fully automated environmental monitoring station, designed specifically for port and harbour environments. Real time data is displayed in the local port operations centre or as part of a Vessel Traffic Management System (VTMS).

The Voluntary Observing Ships’ program (VOS) is an international initiative by which ocean-going ships are recruited by National Meteorological services to record and transmit shipboard weather. AXYS and Environment Canada partnered to develop AVOS – an automated weather station that transmits VOS program reports.
