REACH Registration Services

The REACH regulation requires that only registered substances may be manufactured or imported into the EU. Manufacturers and Importers of a given substance must submit a registration dossier to the European CHemical Agency (ECHA), along with the relevant fees based on company size.REACH registration dossiers are submitted to the Agency in an electronic format (IUCLID 5) to facilitate automated bulk processing.

Biocides Compliance Services

The Biocidal Product Regulation (BPR, Regulation (EU) 528/2012) concerns the placing on the market and use of biocidal products, which are used to protect humans, animals, materials or articles against harmful organisms, like pests or bacteria, by the action of the active substances contained in the biocidal product.The new biocides regulation is applicable from 1 September 2013, with a transitional period for certain provisions. It repeals the Biocidal Products Directive (BPD, Directive 98/8/EC).

REACH SVHC Compliance Services

The identification of a substance as Substance of Very High Concern (SVHC) and its inclusion in the Candidate List, is the first step toward the authorisation procedure.Irrespectively, following such inclusion companies have immediate legal obligations linked to the listed substance on its own, in preparations and articles.The specific provisions on obligations are stated in articles 7(2), 31(1) and 33 of REACH.

Regulatory Services on CLP

The CLP regulation (EC No. 1272/2008) sets the rules for classification and labelling of chemicals. It aims to determine whether a substance or mixture displays properties that lead to a classification as hazardous. Once such properties are identified and the substance or mixture is classified accordingly, manufacturers, importers, downstream users and distributors of substances or mixtures, as well as producers and importers of certain specific articles should communicate the identified hazards of these substances or mixtures to other actors in the supply chain, including to consumers. As REACH and CLP are closely interlinked, it is recommended to coordinate the implementation of CLP together with processes related to obligations under REACH.
