Bakelite - Dynamic Microchamber System
The Dynamic Microchamber from Bakelite Synthetics (DMC) is an easy-to-use, fast, computer-integrated, small-scale formaldehyde emissions test system for your quality control program. Emission testing of individual samples can be completed in as few as 15 minutes each.
Bakelite - Aromatic Polyols
Bakelite’s novel Resonance™ polyols serve as building blocks for PUR and PIR formulators by combining the green strength and mechanical properties of polyether polyols with the resistance to fire of aromatic polyester polyols. This can translate into improved reaction to fire, thermal insulation performance, dimensional stability and mechanical strength.
Bakelite - Urea-formaldehyde and Phenol-formaldehyde Resins
Bakelite® urea-formaldehyde and phenol-formaldehyde resins are used in coated abrasives, bonded abrasives and wheels, sandpaper, scrub pads and other industrial abrasive applications. Introducing BREAKTHRU™ technology, a unique development that laboratory analysis has shown to decrease free formaldehyde to less than 0.1% versus the typical 0.3-1.5% in phenolic resins. Other potential benefits include reduced free phenol and solvent elimination, with the attendant VOC reduction.
Bakelite - DMC Parts and Consumables
Bakelite Synthetics offers consumables and OEM replacement parts for both legacy and current Dynamic Microchamber systems. Spare or replacement parts prices are available via quote. Refer to Bakelite Synthetics standard Terms and Conditions. Bakelite - Molding Compound Resins
THERMOSET PROPERTIES OF PHENOLIC RESIN produce thermal and chemical resistant properties for automotive and electrical products. Our resins are typically filled with glass fiber, organic or inorganic fillers. Phenolic resins work well with chopped virgin or recycled carbon fibers. Phenolic molding compounds are easy to use and support new and rapid part production and design. This facilitates the opportunity to meet industry lightweighting goals and cost targets.
