Altech Aluminum Internal Floating Roofs are custom designed to each individual tank within the requirements of API 650 Appendix H. All IFR’s are designed by our design and engineering team utilizing the latest technology to assure that you have the most efficient IFR in your storage Tanks. Altech IFR’s are often designed to an end user’s specific criteria that exceeds the standard design and requirements. Altech Internal Floating Roofs can be designed as leg supported or cable suspended.

We provide comprehensive estimates, complete design, shop fabrication, delivery to the site, and field erection services. Our field construction crews are led by the industry’s most experienced supervisors, each with years of tank construction experience. Baker Tank Co./Altech utilizes the most advanced technology and equipment in the design, fabrication, and erection phases of construction. All tank designs are per API or AWWA specifications. Design options include Cone Roof Tanks, Umbrella roof tanks and Open Top Tanks. Baker Tank Company/Altech offers Steel Pan IFRs and Steel Pontoon IFRs internal and external.
