BN can custom design a small, fast, and lightweight aerospace pump for your application. The model BNP-21-000 shown above uses a canned motor for a hermetic design water pump that runs a partial emission impeller directly driven by a 28 volt brushless DC motor. Many other similar designs are available for a wide range of fluids and performance. BN also provides a standard line of time-tested Avionics Cooling Pumps. These pumps are centrifugal designs with close-coupled shafts and integral mechanical seals. BN also specializes in the design and production of customized pumps for a wide variety of other aerospace applications including life support and environmental control.

Barber-Nichols (BN) has the experience to design, produce, and test aerospace compressors and fans for your most demanding applications. BN can design custom, or modify existing, compressors and fans to accommodate a wide variety of applications. Compressors and fans are conceptually designed using Meanline and streamline software. BladeGen® is then used to generate the three-dimensional blading and CFD Analysis is used to optimize the blade design for performance and noise reduction.
