The BT 25 Lab Series Pelletizers from Bay Plastics Machinery are compact and versatile machines that offer the capability of production-scale pelletizers, tailored for laboratory settings. Despite their small footprint, these pelletizers can handle a diverse range of materials, including rubber-like strands and glass-reinforced thermoplastic resins. They feature tool-free access to the cutting chamber for easy cleaning and maintenance. The BT 25 can process up to four 1/8” diameter strands of olefins or two 1/8” diameter strands of engineered resins, with standard pelletizing speeds from 20 to 78 feet per minute. For specialized applications, high-speed and low-speed options are available. The device boasts independent drives for feedroll and cutter, allowing for quick adjustments to pellet size.

The Strand Pelletizing System WSD is designed for the production of reinforced and filled polymers. The surface water of the strands is removed by a combination of air blowing and vacuum before being pelletized.

Bay Plastics Machinery`s WBX Series Water Baths are designed to enhance the efficiency of pelletizing processes. These water baths are customized to meet a broad range of extrusion applications, ensuring adaptability and efficiency in various settings. With features such as adjustable legs, the water baths can be easily integrated with different pelletizers and extruders. They also include locking quick-release hold-down bars equipped with UHMWPE grooved rollers that minimize friction and maintain strand alignment. Depending on the length, these baths can support three to five hold-down bars. Complementing these features, optional water recirculation systems offer tailored solutions with components like pumps and heat exchangers, available in sealed plate, plate-and-frame, and shell-and-tube units to maintain optimal water levels and temperature.
