Baytek International is continuing to develop new solutions to provide our customers with the next level in quality data management. Our most recent solution: OASIS automates the management of online analyzer data correlation and model creation. This web system captures online predictions and associated spectra files then automatically correlates these predictions with the appropriate laboratory primary method data.  Capturing this correlation in the OASIS database allows for powerful charting and chemometric modeling pre-work.

Baytek understands the value to Process Control and good Lab Management of knowing exactly when samples are collected. Our proven BayID sample tracking system, provides our customers with that value in a simple to deploy and use solution. Utilizing Windows Mobile OS enabled handheld scanners, BayID offers Handheld Collection of both Sample ID and Sample Point barcodes at the Sample Collection Point for accurate Sample Collection Times.

Baytek International’s iPRO solution was developed to provide easy-to-implement, highly manageable automation solutions for data acquisition from any laboratory instrument. iPRO allows technicians to efficiently perform many instrument management activities, like developing sequence files for several popular chromatography packages, including ChemStation™, OpenLab™, ChromPerfect™, EZChrom™, and Millenium32™. iPRO provides gas chromatography and autosampler control, as well as automation for many non-chromatography instruments such as the Mettler™ titrator, Precision™ ADA, Canon™ auto viscometer, and many more.

Baytek International has developed a solution that leverages proven RFID technology to simplify the process of vial management in the laboratory environment. This cutting-edge toolkit, RFIVial, uses a very small RFID affixed to a GC or HPLC vial that allows for the wireless reading and writing of up to two kilobytes of information. This is enough memory to store a method and channel an instrument. This toolkit allows for sample tracking, audit trails, and chain of custody transfers within the laboratory. We have also written software and developed hardware to allow for the reading and writing of the RFIVial at both a sample preparation station and a GC autosampler. This functionality can be expanded with the toolkit to include any location or instrument throughout the lab and facility.

TurboTube, an automated sample vial distribution system. TurboTube allows the laboratory to take workflow automation and sample tracking, custody, and throughput to a whole new level. TurboTube continues software connectivity to the sample vial. No longer does instrument automation only refer to data acquisition and run control, now instrument automation includes complete sample vial control and distribution. TurboTube networks all the GC instruments together into a centralized sampling system.
