BEA’s IXIO-ST Industrial is an effective, versatile and easy-to-use safety sensor for interior industrial doors, automatic sliding doors and off-door industrial automation. It can be used for both clear door openings and side-lite protection. Precise infrared curtains coupled with visible alignment beams make the IXIO-ST Industrial extremely safe and easy to adjust. This state-of-the-art sensor features an on-board LCD screen that streamlines the installation and setup processes. The IXIO-ST Industrial has earned a comprehensive list of credentials and certifications, including UL, FCC and IP54.
BEA - Laser Scanner for Industrial Door Safety
BEA’s LZR-i30 is a laser-based time-of-flight sensor. This high precision technology ensures accurate object detection. The product configuration provides four laser-based curtains offering a three dimensional safety zone. The sensor is designed for the detection of people and vehicles, in both indoor and outdoor environments. The detection accuracy makes this sensor ideal for high performance industrial doors, vehicle flow safety, perimeter protection and a variety of applications. The LZR-i30 is housed in a NEMA 4 rated enclosure and can be installed in outdoor, industrial and other harsh environments. Three visible LED spots provide accurate reference points when adjusting the tilt angle. Parameter adjustments can be made with a BEA remote control.
BEA - Activation and Safety Sensor for Automatic Sliding Doors
BEA’s IXIO-DT1 is the premier activation and safety sensor, combining the highest quality and the best value for the automatic sliding door industry. This dual technology product is a highly flexible and user-friendly solution for sliding doors, industrial doors, vehicle gate detection and off-door automation. The IXIO-DT1 can be adjusted into an ANSI compliant solution and has earned a comprehensive list of credentials and certifications, including UL, FCC and IP54. The IXIO-DT1 ensures convenience, safety and energy efficiency for all BEA customers and end users.
BEA - Camera Safety Sensor for Automatic Sliding Doors
BEA’s IXIO-DT1V is the premier activation and safety sensor for sliding doors. Coupled with the dual technology, the IXIO-DT1V includes an NTSC-compliant video surveillance camera that provides high quality footage of those entering and exiting a building. The IXIO-DT1V can be adjusted into an ANSI compliant solution and has earned a comprehensive list of credentials and certifications including UL, FCC and IP54. The high quality camera offers a wide field of view and is ideal for video documentation of pedestrian traffic, liability and warranty documentation, people counting and security applications, in a variety of environments. The IXIO-DT1V ensures convenience, safety and energy efficiency on automatic sliding doors.
Pedestrian Sensing Solutions - Swinging Doors
Bodyguard - Overhead Presence Sensor for Pedestrian Automatic Doors
BEA’s Bodyguard-T is an overhead presence sensor designed for pedestrian automatic doors. The Bodyguard-T provides threshold protection during the door open state. It is designed to prevent a closed door from opening and an open door from closing when a person is in the detection zone. This sensor is easy to install and adjustments can be made by sing the BEA remote control.
BEA - Laser Sensor System for Automatic Swing Doors
BEA’s LZR-microscan T is a laser-based sensor system designed for automatic swing doors. It is the premier safety sensor system on the market. Using sophisticated time-of-flight technology, the LZR-microscan T eliminates all past limitations of infrared-based devices. Its background independence eliminates nuisance detections caused by changing weather and floor conditions, while gyroscopes sense the movement of the door for accurate positioning. The LZR-microscan T provides adjustable pattern depths that exceed the ANSI 156.10 8.2.2.3 standard and offer 100% coverage in all door states (fully open, fully closed, opening and closing).
SuperScan - Door Mounted Active Infrared Safety Sensor
BEA’s SuperScan-T is a door mounted, active infrared safety sensor designed for use on automatic swinging, revolving, folding and low energy doors. The SuperScan-T uses triangulation to detect the presence of a pedestrian, while the door is opening and closing. The SuperScan-T can be used as an individual module or daisy chained with additional slave modules. This flexibility allows the SuperScan-T to be used on both narrow and wide doors. Each module detection zone can be adjusted independently.
Pedestrian Sensing Solutions - High Performance Door Sensors
Microcell - Photo Beams Sensor for Pedestrian Automatic Doors
BEA`s Microcell is designed to provide safety for automatic sliding door thresholds and swing door guide rails. The Microcell is a compact, self-contained system of beams that fits easily into 1/2 inch pre-drilled holes and requires a single wire connection on each side. The Microcell is available either in a single or double beam version with an optional 32 foot cable.
Pedestrian Detection Systems for Access Control Gates
Focus - Active Infrared Presence Sensor
BEA’s Focus family consists of infrared-based presence sensors designed to effectively detect people and objects. These compact sensors can be used in a variety of applications where space may be limited or additional detection is required to complement pre-installed sensors, such as on revolving doors where pinch-zone protection is needed. The Focus 2 offers the same protection as the Focus but can be recessed into a ceiling. The Smart Focus provides internal and external self-monitoring. Single button setup ensure easy installation in most common applications. The Focus family can be used on revolving doors, drive-thru windows, and in industrial applications such gate and access control.
Quadscan - Active Infrared Presence Sensor
BEA’s Quadscan is a presence sensor designed for use on pedestrian automatic swinging doors. The Quadscan can be mounted at heights ranging from 43 to 118 inches. At a 78-inch mounting height, four active infrared safety spots provide approximately 15.75 inches of safety protection per sensor. The Quadscan output offers individual safety side and approach side relays. Four DIP switches provide user friendly adjustment for door side, AIR frequency, background reflectivity and uncovered zone height.
