The Bepex RP Disintegrator is a sanitary hammer mill, widely used in the food industry for a diverse range of applications. Processing capabilities include coarse grinding, homogenizing, delumping, shredding, pureeing, finishing, and pulping. The sanitary design lends itself to food applications where flexibility is required, providing quick and easy access to internals for cleaning, changing the setup, and maintenance.

The Bepex RD Disintegrator is a heavy-duty vertical hammer and screen mill, featuring a 360-degree sizing screen surrounding a series of hammers rotating at high speeds. The rugged one-piece body design provides a strong foundation for your toughest milling applications. A dual discharge chute provides the added benefit of tramp, or unwanted material removal. Hard-faced hammers provide the impact necessary to reduce tough to fracture solids while providing additional wear life. Utilize our integrated screw feeder to ensure a consistent feed stream maximizing efficiency.

The Bepex Granulator is a versatile hammer mill, often utilized in our high-pressure granulation systems. Given the goal in granulation systems is to produce as much “on-size” particles as possible, the Granulator has been designed to deliver a controllable, tight particle size distribution. The drop-through design of the grinding chamber provides a compact footprint, minimizing headspace required, making it beneficial for use in gravity flow operations. Variable rotor designs include blunt faced hammers for increased impact, or sharpened knives providing more shear cutting, depending on the material being processed.

The Pulvocron air classifying mill utilizes high-speed impact and internal particle size classification to produce fine powders with a narrow size distribution. Adjustable operating conditions, including tip speed, air flow, and classifier speed provides control over resultant particle size, material temperature, and capacity. Thermally conditioning the inlet air stream provides optional heating to simultaneously dry and mill wet solids, or cooling to reduce resulting material temperatures.

The Extructor is a heavy-duty, food-grade grinder designed to reduce the size of large blocks of materials. It operates on the premise of low speed, high torque, which minimizes heat input into material while delivering the power needed for size reduction. The Extructor is widely used for grinding natural or processed cheese blocks and wheels ahead of a melting and blending step, or grinding frozen meat blocks prior to cooking or a secondary meat grinder in pet food and animal feed production.

The Bepex Roll Compactor is a high-pressure agglomerator, able to press fine and often highly aerated solids into larger, cohesive masses with controlled densities. Agglomeration is performed by compressing fine material between two opposed, counter-rotating rolls held under pressure. By utilizing high pressure to agglomerate, you often eliminate the need for a liquid binder and the ensuing drying or curing step required in wet agglomeration. This slots pressure roll compaction as an economical option for particle enlargement, de-dusting, and densification.

The Flexwall Turbulizer bridges the gap between high-shear agglomeration and the need for a self-cleaning mixing operation. Using a consistently flexing mixing chamber, this technology can process materials that would otherwise build-up in static-bodied wet agglomeration processes. The Flexwall Turbulizer introduces enough energy into the material to create a strong, stable product that can’t be achieved in existing self-cleaning agglomeration equipment, such as vertical instant mixers. By adjusting the liquid addition rate and rotor speed, particle size is controlled to produce consistently sized and particles that meet your requirements for density and dissolution.

The Bepex Hydramix offers hydration without particle degradation. Our self-cleaning design features close tolerances between the mixing paddles and the vessel walls to reduce material buildup and inefficient mixing. This self-cleaning design provides more consistent operation, greater mixing capabilities, and reduces maintenance, resulting in increased productivity.
