Pulse and Delay Generators

Femtosecond Digital Delays with 5 Picosend Jitter

The Model 745 Digital Delay Generator (DDG) offers the world`s leading performance in a benchtop timing instrument. 25 years ago, our Model 7095 Digital Delay Generator dramatically advanced research with jitter below 25 picoseconds. Now, with all the features of a modern DDG, the Model 745 gives users incredible performance at a fraction of the cost. The Model 745 offers 4 precision delay channels from the front panel with an additional 4 channel option on the rear panel. The output risetime is 1 ns and the user may specify the frequency of the external clock. The Model 745 syncs to an external clock between 10 MHz and 80 MHz making the unit ideal for a broad range of applications requiring short time domain delays.

Digital Delay / Pulse Generator

The Model 575 provides multi-channel 250 ps-resolution timing, delaying, gating, pulsing and syncing functions for an attractive price. There are many practical modes of operation and features in addition to the traditional digital delay and pulse generator modes. For usefulness and value – there is nothing comparable. Each channel provides both delays and widths – so a 2-channel Model 575 provides the same delay and width functionality of competitive 4-channel units. The 575 is available in 2, 4 and 8 channel configurations, with optional Ethernet, High Voltage and Dual Input Trigger options.

Berkeley - Six (6) Channel Digital Pulse / Delay Generator

The Model 525 represents a revolutionary new pulse generator that offers full function in a compact and cost effective package. At just 7.125“ x 5.1“ x 1.5” this is one of the smallest units available, but you will not be disappointed in its performance, features, or programmability. Finally, a low-cost pulse generator that does not sacrifice performance or function.

Berkeley - 0.001 Hz to 20 MHzDigital Delay / Pulse Generator

The Model 577 digital delay generator provides multi-channel 250 ps-resolution timing, delaying, gating, pulsing, and synchronizing functions at an attractive price. In addition to the traditional digital delay and pulse generator modes, there are many practical modes of operation and features. For usefulness and value, there is nothing comparable.

Berkeley - Femtosecond Digital Delays with 5 Picosecond Jitter

The Model 745T Digital Delay Generator (DDG) offers the world`s leading performance in a benchtop timing instrument. Twenty-five years ago, our Model 7095 Digital Delay Generator dramatically advanced research with jitter below 25 ps. Now, with all the features of a modern DDG, the Model 745T gives users incredible performance at a fraction of the cost. The Model 745T offers 4 precision delay channels from the front panel (output rise time less than 2 ns) with an additional 4-channel option on the rear panel (output rise time less than 5 ns). The Model 745T synchronizes to an external clock at 10 MHz or 80 MHz or custom frequency between 10MHz and 80MHz making the unit ideal for a broad range of applications that require short time domain delays.

Berkeley - Twenty (20) Channel Digital Delay Generator

The Model 745T-20C Digital Delay Generator provides users with an amazing twenty independent channels of pulse delay and width. This multi-channel Digital Delay Generator provides delay resolution of 100 picoseconds (ps) with an optional 1 picosecond (ps) resolution. The jitter is less than 25 ps with internal or external triggers.

Berkeley - Fast Rise Time Pulse Generator

The Model 765 Fast Rise Time Pulse Generator offers 500 MHz frequency, 70 ps rise and fall times and adjustable pulse widths. The flexible pulser allows programmable amplitudes and offsets ( + / - 5V) and programmable widths down to 300 picosecond. Delay and Pulse Width resolution is 10ps and jitter is less than 25ps. The gesture-ready touchscreen GUI allows users to quickly set up 4 channels of output. Conventional push-buttons and a rotary encoder offer additional programming simplicity. We have made significant improvements in our analog front end as well, ensuring minimal overshoot and ringing. That`s just the beginning....the Model 765`s innovative hardware architecture provides advanced pulse sequences, such as double pulse or quad pulse, with fully independent timing parameters. Give us a call, we are happy to discuss your requirements.

RF / Microwave Generators and Synthesizers

Berkeley - 100 kHz to 20 GHz Ultra-Agile Vector Signal Generators

The Model 875 is an ultra fast-switching vector modulated signal source covering a continuous frequency range with models from 100 KHz to 20 GHz. The Model 875 offers switching speeds down to 200ns, enables ultrafast CW frequency sweeps, chirping, intra-pulse modulation and pulse shaping with very low phase noise. A high performance internal I/Q modulator enables customized modulation waveforms and supports dedicated modulation schemes such as avionics modulations. The new design offers deep memory and such wideband capability, complex modulation is now affordable.

Berkeley - 100 kHz to 40 GHzRF / Microwave Signal Generator

The Model 865 Series RF / Microwave Signal Generator from Berkeley Nucleonics offers a new performance level with ultra low noise signals from 100kHz to 40GHz. The compact design introduces new power options allowing a broad dynamic range to meet a wide range of applications. The 865 also leverages a faster power and frequency switching capability to expand your ability to test recievers, components, antennas and other devices. The handy front panel touchscreen allows full operation of the instrument while a simple GUI is also included for remote operation. You can connect by USB, LAN or GPIB to control your instrument. RF signal performance across a broad frequency range, with accurate output power control, is now affordable and available in a small enclosure.
