Model Aero3G - Third Generation Aerosol Control Platform

The Aero3G* is Biaera’s patented control platform for laboratory-based aerosol studies. The Aero3G controls, monitors, displays, and records all relevant parameters during an aerosol procedure. All system functions are managed through Biaera’s proprietary Aero3G control software running on a PC. The open architecture design allows the user to custom configure the software to operate with virtually any aerosol generator, aerosol sampler, exposure chamber, or monitoring device. The small footprint offers flexibility in lab configurations, conserves valuable space in high containment applications, and facilitates movement around the lab. USB and RS-232 ports support plug-and-play expansion to control additional devices and integrate analytical instruments from our partners into your aerosol system.

Model AeroMP - Aerosol Management Platform

The AeroMP* is Biaera’s original and most comprehensive aerosol control platform. The AeroMP can be configured to control nine independent airflows, three RS-232 controlled devices, and three USB devices. All system functions are managed through Biaera’s AeroMP control software running on a PC in the laboratory. The open architecture software allows the user to custom configure the system to operate with virtually any aerosol generator, aerosol sampler, exposure chamber, or monitoring device.

Whole Body Inhalation System

Biaera’s whole body Inhalation system for infectious agents integrates the Aero3G control platform with a whole body exposure chamber. The 38 Liter chamber was originally developed for aerosol exposures of mice [Stephenson (1988)], and has been used for exposures with a variety of infectious agents in a variety of conditions.

High-Capacity Whole Body Inhalation System

Biaera’s high-capacity whole body inhalation system includes an increased chamber volume to allow exposure of more or larger test subjects. With a 58 Liter volume flowing at 29 LPM, this chamber offers similar aerosol characteristics to Biaera’s standard whole body chamber. The larger volume provides the flexibility to include more test subjects in each exposure or to work with larger species. Double doors and retracting cam latch/handle facilitate ease-of-use in high containment applications. This larger chamber is fully compatible with the Aero3G and all of Biaera’s other aerosol generation, sampling, monitoring, and control technologies.
