Summary of Operations

Bidwell Environmental, LLC provides environmental health and safety (EH&S) consulting services in support of large scale construction projects undertaken by the New York City Department of Environmental Protection. Bidwell has established itself as an EH&S leader supporting Engineering Firms in both project design and construction oversight, and specializes in site assessment, hazardous materials management, and health and safety.

Bidwell`s expertise provides an integral and highly specialized component of project design and construction oversight, ensuring that hazardous materials are readily identified and effectively managed with minimal impact to construction cost and schedule. Additionally, Bidwell`s onsite services during construction offer the unique benefit of an independent project monitor whose primary goal is to assist our clients in achieving regulatory compliance and maintaining a safe and healthful work environment. As necessary our staff can sample for hazardous materials, develop remediation plans, negotiate change order work and provide inspection services.

Customers & Markets

Bidwell`s current customer base includes several accounts with nationally recognized engineering firms. Sales were driven 100% by environmental consulting services for construction projects within New York City and throughout its watershed where aging facilities are being renovated, redesigned, and expanded to meet increasingly stringent environmental regulations. Having recently retained the full-time services of a business developer, Bidwell is poised for expanding their market to include EH&S training and consulting for private business and large scale federal projects.

Current demand for environmental services is driven by new construction and rehabilitation projects, as the City recognizes the need for EH&S expertise during the design and construction phase of all projects. To satisfy governmental requirements, 5% of work contracted by the New York City Department of Environmental Protection is required to be performed by a Women Owned Business Enterprise (WBE), for which Bidwell is qualified.

Success in the industry is largely driven by expertise in environmental consulting, qualifications, past performance and competitive pricing areas in which Bidwell has excelled for over 10 years.
