The Model 20181 Universal Venturi Tube (UVT) is a differential producing, primary measurement device for accurately metering water, sewage, air and other fluids for both municipal and industrial applications. The Model 20181 Cast Iron venturi is a multipurpose, short laying length, efficient and economical device that is time proven and unmatched in the industry. To fill the varied demands in the field of fluid measurement, BIF offers the Universal Venturi Tube (UVT) in a series of designs that allow the use of many metals in the form of rolled plate, forgings, and bar stock.

The BIF Model 20612 is a rate of ?ow controller that combines the Model 20181 high accuracy venturi form of the BIF Universal Venturi Tube (UVT®) with off the shelf butter?y valves.

The Kennison Nozzle is utilized to measure the flow of fluids in a partially filled pipe. The nozzle shape allows measurement of low flow rates and over a wide flow rate range. As well it allows measurement of fluid streams with solids and debris such as storm drains and raw sewage. The Kennison nozzle is ideal for measurement of flows into open manholes or open flows into tanks. Nozzles are available in standard sizes 6" to 24" and special sizes up to 48" in inlet diameter.

The sediment trap is used in filter loss of head applications. The trap installs through the wall of the filter and connects to the High-Pressure side of your loss of head transmitter. The sediment trap stops filter media and other sediment from collecting in the impulse lines.

The BIF IPS is designed to give you high reliability and low maintenance in wastewater flow measurement applications. The IPS includes a purge pane with an integrated Rosemount differential pressure transmitter and a control panel that notifies your SCADA system when a purge is taking place.

Both versions include a corrosion resistant enclosure with a differential pressure transmitter, local display and power supply. With the control option a PID controller is installed along with local setpoint capability. When paired with a BIF Rate of Flow Controller and valve actuator you have a complete standalone control system.
