By calculating the carbon emissions of BioCarbon Laminates whilst in our care we are able to take the responsibility of handling the carbon through our carbon management programme. As part of our programme, we have invested in carbon credits that are used to support projects across the world. From Wind Farms in India to the Kumasi Stoves off setting project in Ghana, where added benefits include employment and wealth management for developing countries.

By offsetting our emissions whilst the material is in our care, we can ensure that carbon neutrality of the material is achieved Cradle-to-Gate.

BioCarbon Laminates range of HPL and SGL offer Antibacterial protection with the added protection of an innovative Antimicrobial surface nanotechnology, designed to actively inhibit the spread of microorganisms.

Through dedicated research and development Antimicrobial protection comes as standard across our complete range of laminates both in HPL and SGL, which demonstrates our commitment to the health, safety, and wellbeing of our end users.

Our HPL and SGL are tested under JIS Z 2801 method, the industry standard for testing Antimicrobial performance on hard surfaces, as well as ISO 22196.
