Non-Woven Materials

Our highly capable range of non-woven materials offers tailored functional performance coupled with the eco-credentials of bio-resins. We offer a range of non-wovens with compostable and bio-based credentials, based on spunbond or melt-blown technology. BioMesh consists of a variety of bio-resins that achieve specific functionality in non-woven applications. As well as delivering “off-the-shelf” solutions, we maximise our knowledge and competency in this field to tailor-make material solutions, working with innovative non-woven manufacturers, convertors and end-users to deliver the best BioMesh solution.

BiomeCord

BiomeCord is well suited to spinning fibre and monofilamnets. It provides a sustainable sourced and biodegradable alternative to polyamide resins. It produces a strong, tough filament that is resistant to water, grease, gasoline and oil.

High Temperature

When temperature resistance is paramount, BiomeHT90 is the answer. With a softening point of 110°C, some 40–50°C higher than competitive bioplastics, BiomeHT90 is the perfect choice for food service and electronics applications.

Flexible Films

BiomeEP1 is a potato-starch based, GM-free resin with enhanced wet-out and print adhesion characteristics that enables fabulous print quality and lamination at high production speeds. BiomeEP1 can be stiffened by blending in BiomeEP2.
