The BumbleBee is an innovative sample handler designed to excel at the most complex sample transfer applications. Primarily designed to be integrated with BioNex Solution’s Hive Automation Platform, the BumbleBee’s patented independent channels and rotating sample translators enable fast, simultaneous picking-from and placing-into any location on the sample deck.

The BNX 1536 liquid handling system provides both precise dispensing and thorough microplate washing in a single instrument. The small footprint houses a built-in vacuum and air pressure pump; no external pumps are needed.

For a complete high-throughput solution for low-volume, high-precision pipetting, try the 8-channel Nanodrop II or the 16-channel Nanodrop Express. Each system has interchangeable, fixed-tip heads (1×8 or 2×4 configurations for the Nanodrop II and 1×16 or 2×8 configurations for the Nanodrop Express) and comes with two plate positions that enable applications such as assay miniaturization, DNA normalization, method development, PCR and NGS reaction setup, or protein crystallography.

The BioNex HiG centrifuge delivers the highest speed of any robot accessible centrifuge on the market today. Capable of rapid acceleration up to 5000 x g, the HiG provides better pelletizing, cleaner supernatants and faster filtration than lower speed centrifuges can achieve. Applications requiring previously unobtainable spin forces are now possible in an automated centrifuge.

The BeeSure Level Sensing System provides peace of mind that your sample handling automation delivers what you require it to do. This quality control tool measures the change in level within a sample vessel (microplate well, micro-tube, vial, reagent container, test tube) on the addition or subtraction of substance within the sample vessel. The substance can be either liquid or solid.

The HiBeam labware laser engraver is next-generation technology to provide direct indelible microplate marking that is far superior to conventional printed labels. The HiBeam marks directly on the labware surface, thereby eliminating the risk of adhesive-backed labels becoming detached due to poor adhesion, humidified environment, centrifugation, solvent contact or other interferences that typically plague print-and-apply labelers. Adhesive labels, ribbons, thermal paper or any other types of consumables are not needed.

The Hive Laboratory Automation platform’s innovative, patented design uses vertical space to facilitate the integration of a large number of instruments and consumable storage in a relatively small footprint,, thus saving valuable lab space. The modular design of the Hive platform allows direct, forward-facing access to all components for easy labware loading and unloading, daily maintenance, and periodic servicing.
