The CycloPlus collector is an advanced cyclone design that offers high retained solid particulate collection as either a primary particulate device for dust removal or recovery or to act as a precleaning stage to reduce particulate loadings ahead of a fabric filter collector to increase fabric filter life, or wet scrubber and reduce scrubbing liquid blowdown. CycloPlus features a proprietary highly advanced gas inlet involute design to boost particle capture efficiencies over conventional cyclones by eliminating particle air stream re-entrainment.

For more than 45 years Bionomic Industries has designed and manufactured Baghouse Dust Collectors for a wide array of applications and industries. A Baghouse Dust Collector is a pollution control device and/or product recovery device which utilizes fabric filters, or ‘bags’, to remove dust and solid particulate from emissions.

Bionomic counter-current packed towers are the ideal solution to air pollution problems associated with the removal of corrosive vapors, unwanted mists, noxious and odoriferous gases. By creating a counter-current flow between contaminated gases and scrubbing liquid throughout a high surface area packed bed, rapid and uniform absorption of pollutants is achieved with maximum efficiency. Series 5000 towers are designed to accept a wide variety of packings, mist eliminators and gas scrubber liquor distribution systems. This enables the scrubbers to meet a full range of applications and gas absorption requirements.

The Series 5500 Crossflow Scrubber`s low profile lends itself to applications where there is a height restriction or esthetic concern such as indoors or building roof tops and the contaminant to remove is a toxic fume, gaseous pollutant, mist or odor that requires a chemical reagent scrubbing solution. This horizontal packed bed scrubber utilizes a crossflow contact pattern between the gas and scrubbing solution.

The Series 6000 Tray Scrubber is the recommended choice when the application can include a particulate laden gas stream, a low liquid throughput for vapor removal/recovery or potentially fouling liquids or particulate.

The ideal scrubber selection for low to moderate gas volumes when gaseous and or particulate contaminant removal is required.  The Series 6500 Jet Scrubber creates its own draft to eliminate the need for a fan in most cases realizing cost savings and system simplification.   Inherent with this design, gas is scrubbed with no bypass resulting in a scrubber that can be used for large turndowns in gas flows. The Jet scrubber utilizes a high scrubbing liquid to gas ratio also making it the preferred selection for treating high concentration gas streams to reduce the resultant exothermic reaction temperature rise of the scrubbing liquid.

The extremely efficient gas atomized Series 7000 and 8000 Venturi Scrubbers are the best choice for applications requiring the removal of smaller micron and submicron size particulate down to 0.2 microns and meeting EPA classified PM 10 and PM 2.5 standards. Soluble or chemically reactive gaseous contaminants are easily removed with these highly efficient devices. Both Series 7000 Rectangular and Series 8000 Annular throat units feature Bionomic proprietary Maxi-Impact optimized  long liquid-gas contact throat sections offering reduced pressure drop and superior collection of smaller micron sized particles then conventional venturi, rod deck or cylinder element throat configurations.

A major advancement in cyclonic scrubber technology, the Series 9000 Preformed Spray Scrubber is capable of outperforming venturi scrubbers on an energy cost basis for collection of particulate in the 2 micron and larger size range and simultaneous removal of gaseous pollutants.

Specifically designed to treat acid gas emissions from particulate laden combustion flue gas and process operations, the Series 9500 Spray Tower Scrubber is an extremely simple gas scrubbing device capable of 99% control efficiency. The scrubber consists of a fully open vertical vessel fitted with banks of hydraulic atomized spray nozzles. Nozzles feature an ideal droplet size distribution to achieve maximum mass transfer efficiency with a special non fouling large particle passage design to enable handling scale forming limestone, hydrated lime or sodium carbonate based scrubbing reagents.

The patented RotaBed Fluidized Bed Scrubber represents a major breakthrough in ultra-high efficiency gas absorption and particulate collection in a space saving non fouling design. RotaBed is the ideal technology for applications involving particulate laden gas streams or when handling high solids content or scale forming scrubbing liquids.
