BioThema - ATP Kit

ATP Kit SL is intended for assays of enzymes and metabolites by monitoring the formation or degradation of ATP (adenosine triphosphate) over the range of 10 –12 to 10 –6 mol/L.

BioThema - Intracellular ATP Kit

The sensitivity of this kit allows determination of low ATP levels in a variety of circumstances provided it is not important to degrade ATP in somatic cells.

BioThema - Kinase Kit

Kinase RR Kit or Kinase Reaction rate Kit is developed for the easy and reliable identification of protein kinase inhibitor candidates from large compund libraries. The Kinase RR Kit uses direct bioluminescent measurement of ATP degradation rate to distingusih hits from non-hits. In contrast to other bioluminescent ATP based assays of kinase there is no interference from inhibitors acting on luciferase. Furthermore the standard curve is linerar rather than sigmodial. the Kinase RR Kit is flexible and can easily be adapted to various HTS strategies. Z’ values up to 0.96 have been reported. The assay does not require radioactive materials, antibodies or any form of conjugates.

BioThema - Cell viability Kit

Cell Viability Kit SL is intended for use with mammalian cell samples with high cell density or with cell samples with higher density of ATPases, e.g. nerve cells. The kit contains a stronger ATPase inhibitor than 155-050 Cellular ATP Kit HTS and produces stable light. A mammalian cell contains approx. 1 femtomole ATP. 188-441 Cell Viablity Kit SL is useful for quantification of ATP in the range 10^-11– 10^-7 mole/L. This kit can be used for determination of ATP levels in e.g. animal or bacterial cells in a variety of circumstances: Estimation of cell numbers, Cell proliferation studies, Cytotoxicity studies.

BioThema - Cellular ATP

Cellular ATP Kit HTS is intended for use with mammalian cell samples. It is an easy-to-use kit where the lysing buffer, an ATPase inhibitor, and the ATP Reagent are combined in one reagent. The light emission is extremly stable, providing that all ATPases in the sample have been completly inhibited. That makes the 155-050 Cellular ATP Kit HTS suitable for high throughput screening. In samples with a high density of ATPases, e.g. nerve cells, the ATPase inhibitor in the Cellular ATP Kit might not completly inhibit the ATPases. This will result in a slight decay of light. In such cases, a luminometer with dispensers could be used. Alternatively use 188-441 Cell Viability Kit SL which contains a stronger ATPase inhibitor.

BioThema - ATP Hygiene Kit

The  ATP Hygiene Kit HS is suitable for hygiene control of surfaces and liquids (e.g. rinsing water). Practical dropper bottles makes the kit easy-to-use, even for personel not used to handling pipettes. ATP measurement is an excellent way of controlling hygiene, as ATP is found in food residues and other biological dirt as well as living cells. Even though a surface might be sterile (sterile=no bacteria are present) there might still be food residues left after cleaning. Such residues maks an excellent environment for airborne bacteria to grow and in a few hours the surface will no longer be sterile. With the ATP Hygiene Kit HS you can determine not only how many living organisms are present, but also the amount of biological dirt.
