The department of Hydroinformatics has, in terms of our corporate history, developed out of the fields of "open channel hydraulics" and "engineering hydrology" and currently employs a staff of more than 20 experienced clerks, experts and scientific consultants. Continuing the long-standing tradition in these areas - BCE has been using computer-based methods in the field of water management since the end of the 1980s - and parallel to the use of software from outside sources, further development of our in-house proprietary programs is carried out.

Project management, planning of investigation measures, risk assessment, seepage water prognoses according to BBodSchV, hydrochemical modeling, rehabilitation plans according to BBSchG / BBodSchV, health and safety plans, construction supervision / health and safety coordination, technical planning of rehabilitation measures, conception and development of innovative rehabilitation procedure, operation and monitoring of rehabilitated plants.

Water management is a field of work rich in tradition at Björnsen Consulting Engineers. Since 1960, we advise our clients in all matters arising in this field. We develop concepts, design and plan, monitor construction execution and assume the project control for all facilities related to water management, for new facilities as well as renovations, alterations or expansions during ongoing operations.
