The 109 is a special multimeter designed for safe, precise circuit measurement when using electric detonators. It has a built-in current limiting circuit with current output less than 0.004 amps (4 miliamperes).

The 109SC Kit uses the same meter as the Model 109 but includes accessories to allow proper stray current testing and comes in a waterproof carrying case. The 109Sc is a safety MUST when using electric blasting caps. Remember, stray current must be tested for prior to any electric blasting operation, OSHA 29CFR 1926, 906B and MSHA 30CFR 77.1304.TT.
