The BOLLFILTER automatic Type 6.72 has been specifically designed for smaller flow rates. Its task is the filtration of lubricating and fuel oils. The BOLLFILTER automatic Type 6.72 is specifically designed to provide fine filtration down to 6 microns. It is also possible for a fuel filter to incorporate a bypass filter with manually operated 2 stage 3 way switch over valve to give 100% operation security.

The BOLLFILTER Duplex Type 2.04.5 is a filter used for the filtration of liquids, such as water, oil and liquid fuel. It can be installed in the suction or pressure lines to protect parts of the system installed upstream, such as valves, pumps, sliders, pressure gauges or pipelines and, thus, protects these against contamination and silting.

BOLLFILTER Duplex Type 2.05.5 is switchable. As such, the system continues to run without interrupting operation. Switching off the filter chambers at the same time is excluded.

The simplex filter type 1.03.2 consists of one filter chamber and is for use in all circumstances where the plant or filter can be easily shut off by means of a shut-off valve to allow cleaning or replacement of filter elements.

The simplex filter Type 1.12.2 is a particle filter for water and oil. For filtration of liquids, it is installed in the suction or pressure lines and, thus, protects the following parts of the system, for example, pumps, bearings, heat exchangers, valves or pipelines against contamination and silting.

Demisters (droplet separators) serve to separate droplets of liquid from flowing gaseous media and are used to filter gas. The demister acts as a pre-separator when the liquefied gas is highly contaminated. Solids can only be separated to a certain extend in the liquid. This is where duplex filters come into play. Furthermore, demisters are extremely sensitive to changes in the operating conditions, such as pressure or the volumetric flow rate. The cyclone, like the demister, is used as pre-separator when the gas is expected to be highly contaminated by liquid and solid particles. The cyclone separates high solids content as well as high moisture content. The separation efficiency is based on centrifugal force, which carries the particles to the outer wall of the cyclone.

Simplex filters are the basic model of filter technology as all sieve designs can be installed with the various filter materials. BOLLFILTER Simplex Type 1.78.1 / 1.58.1 serve to protect the system parts from soiling and siltation and are in use everywhere where the process can be stopped.

The BOLLFILTER Simplex BFB-C HD is used as a gas filter and coalescence separator in chemical and petrochemical plants, in the offshore industry, and in the power plant sector. This filter is primarily used for filtering fuel gas and seal gas. In cases of heavy contamination, the filter is combined with a pre-separator, e.g. a cyclone or cyclone demister, to separate off solids and liquids. A rapidly rotating flow of gas is required in order to separate out small and lightweight particles. Therefore, the cyclone is designed under actual operating conditions in order to achieve the most efficient separation possible.
