GasFinder is a portable, battery-powered open path gas monitor providing one second response and broad dynamic range. Permanently calibrated, GasFinder is a small and light (less than 5kg) hand held solution. GasFinder response does not depend on path length, so a series of paths of different lengths (between 1m and 1000m) can be measured in quick succession. Ideal for short duration studies and troubleshooting, GasFinder is designed to include safety monitoring during process unit turnarounds and new construction and commissioning.

Many of the world`s natural gas transmission pipelines cross undeveloped and sparsely populated land. Natural vegetation quickly grows back after a pipeline has been laid, making it practically impossible to implement ground based survey programs to detect leaks. Yet that doesn`t negate the need for periodic leak detection surveys. Leaking natural gas can cause both loss of life and loss of revenue. The obvious environmental hazard of leaking gases is compounded by loss of product. In some parts of the world, it is estimated that such losses exceed 15% of gas transmitted.

GasFinderFC is a portable laser based gas detector that incorporates a fiber optic port to allow various measurement heads to be attached and swapped out. These heads can enable stack monitoring, short and long open path monitoring or local point measurements. Delivering a very flexible analyzer that can bring the advantages of laser based gas detection to many new applications.
