Bowser-Morner`s Mechanical Laboratory conducts a variety of mechanical and metallurgical testing services. The services offered include tensile testing, impact testing, hardness testing, micro-hardness testing, micro structure analysis, corrosion evaluations, and failure investigations.

Complete geotechnical subsurface exploration at proposed construction sites includes the determination of the physical characteristics of soil strata such as composition, thickness, and depth of each soil stratum; moisture content and depth of groundwater; depth of bedrock and geologic history; and engineering evaluation of both soil and rock strata for proper building design.

Bowser-Morner ranks as one of the midwest`s leading consulting engineering firms in site-selection and design of waste disposal facilities, both industrial and municipal. Over 50 municipal landfills have been sited and designed with 20 receiving full operational permits. Numerous other industrial waste facilities involving paper sludge, utility ash, refinery sludge, etc. have also been permitted.

The Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (`CERCLA` or `Superfund`) states that a purchase of real estate can only be shielded from future liabilities associated with the real estate by performing a `due-diligence` environmental site assessment. Bowser-Morner has assisted industry, attorneys, lending institutions, real estate firms and various governmental agencies in the purchase, sale or transfer of property by conducting a Phase I environmental site assessment.
