The BVS420 is a vibration velocity sensor specifically designed for the continuous monitoring of rotating machines, adhering to the standards set by DIN/ISO 10816. It offers a 4...20mA current loop signal corresponding to the RMS value of vibration velocity, which can be directly interfaced with MCR technology like limit value relays and PLCs. A key feature is its unique self-test input that electrostatically charges the internal sensor element to assess the complete functionality of the sensor, indicated by an output signal exceeding 20mA. Encased in a water-resistant stainless steel housing with an M8 threaded hole for secure attachment, it connects electrically via a 4-pin M12 flange plug. Ideal for applications across various machinery where vibration monitoring is crucial, including fans, compressors, and more, the BVS420 ensures reliable detection of imbalances and forced vibrations.
