BMF Hydraulics has a long history producing cylinders for the coal and aggregate mining sector. In an industry where dust, rocks, and vibration are all concerns we ensure that our rugged cylinders are up to the task. We can work with customers to develop specialty material rods and use long-lasting seals that extend the lifecycle of our cylinders used in even the harshest of environments.

Material traceability, specialty testing, and corrosive-restraint components are all available upon request. We can manufacture cylinders used in many environments ranging from offshore exploration projects to onshore deep oil & gas drilling rigs.

BMF Hydraulics has the capability to produce cylinders with a bore diameter up to 47” (1200mm) and stroke up to 40’ (12m). This large size production capability has allowed us to manufacture cylinders for several national and municipal civil engineering projects including lock gates and other marine applications. No matter the size of the project we can manufacture a long lasting cylinder tailored specifically for the job.
