The QS15WL is a 15kW quadshaft shredder for shredding bulky items or where output sizing is required. This small quadshaft shredder is ideal for shredding and sizing bulky plastics such as 20L plastic drums.  The self cleaning action of the cutters ensures an efficient operation and the removable screen gives the operator the option to produce a uniform output size.

Brentwood’s AZ15 is a powerful shredder with multiple applications. The AZ15 is a 15kW machine suitable for a wide range of shredding applications. The diameter of the cutters is smaller than our AZ15WL units giving this machine greater cutting forces at the cutter tip. These units are used for paper, wood offcuts, mineral scale, copper cable, documents, plastics, and bark. this machine is also available in a high-speed cardboard pre-chopping version (AZ15C) for size reduction of cardboard and packaging offcuts prior to a chopper fan and blower.

Brentwood’s AZ50HD is a powerful and robust dual shaft shredder designed for the toughest applications. The AZ50HD is our most popular and versatile shredder. Originally developed to eliminate shaft breakages common on smaller machines in tough applications such as paper and tyre shredding, the AZ50HD has proven itself to be a reliable and robust performer – we have not broken an AZ50HD shaft since it was introduced over 14 years ago. This unit can be configured to shred most materials including paper, tyres, oil filters, steel drums, medical waste, and the list goes on..If you have a shredding application, then the AZ50HD is up to the task.

The Bronneberg Forfex-400 alligator shear is equipped with 400 mm blades. This hydraulic alligator shear is the ideal machine when it comes to the cleaning of light and medium sized non-ferrous materials. Furthermore this shear can be used for shearing ferrous materials like reinforcing bar and mild steel round bar. This maintenance and operator friendly shear is equipped with a mechanically adjustable hold-down clamp in combination with a safety guard over the cutting head. The hold down clamp prevents material from kicking back and therefore guarantees operator safety.

Brentwood Engineering manufactures a range of troughed roller and plate supported belt conveyors which have been specially developed for use with waste materials. These can be incorporated into complete plants or supplied individually as required. An understanding of the design factors for Trommel Screens is essential in the development of the correct specification for a particular application. The following details are designed to assist in this process and minimise the consequences of poor selection.  these consequences could include excessive fines in the oversize fraction, insufficient production rate, inability to adapt to different materials or production rates, and screen damage.

The Brentwood Bounce Conveyor separates paper and plastic film from other materials such as plastic bottles, glass bottles and cans by “rumbling” the round objects down the elevated conveyor. The action of beaters under the belt throws these objects into the air, at which time they fall down the conveyor. Progressively they move down the conveyor until they drop off the lower end and are delivered to the next process. Paper and plastics remain on the belt and therefore continue up the conveyor and separation is achieved.

The AZ150W is the largest shredder that we manufacture. The AZ150W is a 110kW shredder with awesome shredding capabilities. This machine is used for some of the toughest applications including truck tyres and mattress spring sets.

The AZ5 is our smallest machine suitable for light shredding applications. The AZ5 is a 5kW dual shaft machine that has a wide range of uses including product destruction, swarf, glass, PET bottles, plastics and paper. Its small size means that it can be integrated into processes where the footprint is an issue.
