The Grizzly Mill Hog is known as the Heavyweight Champion of Wood Waste Grinders for good reason! It is designed to be the most rugged hog on the market and will handle almost any material you throw at it and just keep on running.Cedar bark, green spruce bark, all kinds of mill wood waste, demolition debris, butt ends, railroad ties and stringy bark are all easily processed and the resulting product is of high quality and suitable for hog fuel or mulch.Superior ergonomic design makes the Grizzly mill extremely safe, easy and inexpensive to maintain. Typical maintenance costs for the Grizzly Mill are much lower than for conventional wood waste grinders.

The Brunette veneer chipper is designed with the knives extending the full face width of the drum which produces a uniform quality chip and maximizes the life of the pocket hardware. The contour of the drum allows the anvil to be placed in a position whereby the knife force stays behind the anvil, thus creating a clamping force between the material to be chipped and the anvil, which prevents the material from tipping up towards the drum. Knives can be set close to the anvil across the full face width of the drum thus ensuring more uniform view-pdf-brochurechipping. Knife clamps are designed with a self-opening feature eliminating the need to remove the clamps or nuts during knife changes. The knife pocket is equipped with counter knives for easy replacement.

The Brunette SmartVIBE Vibrating Conveyor is a unique and simple vibrating conveyor. Our design optimizes low cost maintenance and maximum up-time efficiencies with a springless vibratory mechanism which is fully balanced at each stroke. The patented design allows operators to increase conveying speed through the use of controls without costly shutdowns.  Speed is varied by utilizing a Variable Speed Drive (VFD) to control the drive motor view-pdf-brochureRPM which effects the conveyor stroke.

The Brunette Disc Scalping Screen is specifically designed to suit your capacity and classification specifications. The Disc Interface Opening (IFO) is arranged to be progressive allowing material to land on the infeed of the screen with minimal material passing through. As the material flows over the screen the IFO increases to meet your sizing requirement. The Brunette Disc Scalping Screen is mounted at an angle to minimize material spearing through in the landing zone. The slope of the screen and the disc design gives a high flow rate as well as excellent material adjustation. The rugged main frame, oversize shafts and heavy duty bearings minimize maintenance and improves the performance of the Disc Scalping Screen

Our new generation Brunette Retract-to-Load® (RTL) Log Singulator® is built to increase volume and add profits. The patented design’s expanding and contracting steps assist in log separation and rotation. In addition, improved efficiency and throughput is provided by secondary singulation at the nose — reducing log gap and improving piece count. The unit is balanced over center at the park or “pre-load” position. At this point all torque is negative creating negative inertia which increases acceleration and significantly reduces energy consumption. The RTL is in motion from the pointwhere inertia is neutral (loading position) to the point where inertia is negative (park position), there is virtually no start and stop impact force on the drive components.

The CBI Magnum Force 5400SE-SA is recognized as a world champion of extreme duty stationary Hogs. With its exceptionally strong, yet light chassis the 5400SE-SA delivers the rugged durability needed for grinding pallets, construction and demolition (C&D), storm debris, slash, dunnage and much more! The 14′ long and 48″ wide feed conveyor has a fluted high trough design which provides optimal feed to the hog chamber. The open-ended design and large capacity allows for ease of feeding full length material. A dual upper-lower feed roll system affords continuous, positive feed for bulky materials.

The Brunette Optical Belt Scale is a contact-free volumetric scanner that uses the latest laser technology to efficiently scan and measure material crossing the belt with 99.8% accuracy. The scanner first measures the cross-profile of the material on the belt and then measures the feed-rate of the conveyor belt with an inductive sensor. Using a volume data calculation, it then combines the cross profile and the feed rate measurements and stores the resulting precision data in the sensor for easy download.

The Brunette E-Sweeps are an environmentally friendly, highly efficient electric log kicker.  The all electric log kicker eliminates the need for costly hydraulic or inefficient pneumatic kickers.

Brunette has expanded its already successful Chipper line-up to include a Whole Log Chipper. This horizontal feed chipper has a powered upper pressroll and powered lower bedroll to control the feed of the logs to give a high quality chip. Two rotors are available – the standard rotor for up to 1¼” nominal pulp chip, and our new MicroChip rotor which is designed to produce a ¼” nominal chip. Each rotor can be outfitted with our standard Brunette Quick-Change Knife system or the “disposable” Key Knife system.
