The BWB Flash is the first and only fully configurable up to four channel flame photometer that detects and displays all calibrated ions at the same time.
BWB - Model XP - 5 Channel Flame Photometer
The BWB XP is the first and only 5 channel flame photometer with simultaneous detection and display of all 5 elements. The BWB XP was designed from the ground up, using new, innovative and modern technology to give unsurpassed levels of accuracy, usability and reliability while significantly reducing analysis time. Our customers do not need to waste valuable time changing filters and re-calibrating when a different measurement is required, as is a common requirement in all other Flame Photometer designs from 1951 to the present.
BWB - Model XP Plus - 4 Channel Flame Photometer
The BWB XP PLUS was designed around the BWB-XP providing enhanced functions to give more utility while maintaining the unsurpassed levels of accuracy, usability and reliability while signi?cantly reducing analysis time. BWB - Bio Flame Photometer
Purpose Built Flame Photometer with specialised software, firmware and hardware. The BWB BIO has been created for measuring biological solutions and is modernized for today’s research work; which requires routine, quick measurements, with high levels of accuracy for lithium, calcium, sodium and potassium elements. Our recent release is the combination of several “wish lists” from PhD’s in Germany, Chile, Colombia, USA and Canada principally in renal research, diabetes and Alzheimer’s research. Production reagents and solutions QA and QC are facilitated quickly by our unique simultaneous detection and data processing for all atoms of interest.
BWB - Model BIO AV - Flame Photometer
Purpose Built Flame Photometer with specialised software, firmware and hardware. The BWB BIO AV is an offshoot of the popular BWB BIO. A simplified menu structure and enhanced Li detection make it a welcome addition to the BWB family. The ability to calibrate and measure Sodium, Potassium, and Lithium at the same time with the same dilution (from 1:6 to 1:100) streamlines throughput in many laboratories. We have retained the ability to enter and store two user-defined calibration curves should the user wish to readily measure differing sample types.
BWB - Nuclear Flame Photometer
Online, four channel Lithium detection: The measurement of lithium at low concentrations within nuclear power stations has been identified as an application perfectly addressed by a new specialty flame photometer - The BWB Nuclear. Designed in conjunction with our outstanding distributor in Germany, Mr. Wolfgang Glock, this unique flame photometer has 4 active channels for Lithium detection. Each channel is independently calibrated within the range of interest and this results in an increase of accuracy in keeping with industry demand.
BWB - Model FP/PC APP - Redefining Sugar Refining Flame Photometer
In keeping with the Globally accepted published papers from 1977 forward, potassium and sodium detection is now available online 24/7 with a Uniquely configured channel of detection for extreme accuracy along the range of potassium control. This winning proprietary format has been improved with a unique adaptation and optimisation of the proprietary BWB optical array detection systems, which in this iteration of the BWB Specialty Flame Photometers allows for a single channel of precise and accurate potassium and sodium measurement. This Specialty Flame Photometer has been requested and designed for the global Sugar Production marketplace.
BWB - Soil Flame Photometers
Highly accurate and cost effective analysis in the lab or `on the road`. Potassium is essential to plant growth, fertilisers and soil substrates have been analysed using flame photometry for decades. Building upon 2017 research papers conducted by Professor Akiharu Sasaki for the specific use of flame photometer analysis in the agricultural industry over and above other methods of analysis the BWB SOIL Flame Photometer was born.
BWB - Model LI - Lithium Flame Photometer
BWB Flame Photometers have always been renowned for a highly stable and accurate lithium measurement. This winning formula has been developed further with specific adaptation and optimisation of the proprietary BWB optical array detection systems. A well earned thank you to Dr. Richard Roman of the University of Mississippi for his invaluable assistance on this Lithium specific FES. The BWB Li uses multiple lithium detection channels. This latest configuration has been exclusively designed to specifications laid ut though consultation with our customers. The BWB Li is the first of it’s kind. Engineered with a single purpose, the BWB Li is the most accurate and advanced lithium flame photometer (FES) ever manufactured!

The BWB flame photometer is a game-changer in what is possible with a low temperature flame and our product development program has, since day one, been driven by our customer’s demands. We have strong mutually beneficial partnerships within many commercial and academic organisations that faced specific challenges that were addressed by a BWB Special flame photometer. Currently we are measuring Na, K, Li, Ca, Cs and Ba and combinations of these detectors allow users to engage with BWB engineers to evolve an ideal instrument that caters to their specific needs.
