Cygnus Dive - Ultrasonic Thickness Testing

Our Underwater Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is used for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) of steel. It is often be used on bridges and sheet pile walls. With a live LCD and data logger, it will help ensure the collection of accurate and reliable thickness data.

Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs)

Single Beam Echo Sounder (SBES)

Single beam echo sounders SBES provide a cost-effective way to obtain accurate data. It is excellent for creating cross-sections and profiles as well as low-density surveys and is very useful in shallow water. it can be used on boats of various sizes as well as installed on an Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV)

Multi Phase Echo Sounder (MPES)

Side-Scan

If you are looking for a target or want to inspect underwater structures, side-scan 'sees' through the waves by casting shadows on underwater objects. This has many uses, including the ability to help search for underwater objects or create visuals that can be used for underwater inspections.

Scanning sonar is another great tool used for inspecting underwater structures because of its' ability to scan vertically. The structures can later be analyzed using point clouds and other sonar visuals derived from the scans.
