Commercial Diving Inspections

CUIS specializes in Underwater Diving inspections; our team's education and experience combined with using the latest technologies will help you collect the information that you need to make informed engineering decisions for your project. Our divers supplied with air from the surface can perform various tasks underwater, including tactile inspections, non-destructive testing, sampling, and visual inspections, all with live and recorded audio and HD Video Overlayed with water depths.

Underwater Civil and Construction

CUIS can mobilize a diving team within short notice for customers for any underwater task. Our project teams will review the customer's problem and provide the best practical and cost-effective solution for their underwater activities. Our divers are also experienced in the use of a variety of underwater power tools.

Emergency Call outs

If you have an underwater emergency give us a call and we will mobilize ASAP with the required exquipment.

Cygnus Dive - Ultrasonic Thickness Testing

Our Underwater Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is used for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) of steel. It is often be used on bridges and sheet pile walls. With a live LCD and data logger, it will help ensure the collection of accurate and reliable thickness data.

Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs)

ROV inspection

Our ROVs provide another inspection tool capable of providing visual inspection with a live and recorded video feed. They are often used when it is too dangerous or impractical for divers and can also be more cost-effective. ROVs can be equipped with a variety of accessories, including pipe profilers, navigation sonar, ultrasonic sensors, grabbers, and more. Contact today to see if the use of an ROV is the right solution.

Bathymetry and Sonar

Single Beam Echo Sounder (SBES)

Single beam echo sounders SBES provide a cost-effective way to obtain accurate data. It is excellent for creating cross-sections and profiles as well as low-density surveys and is very useful in shallow water. it can be used on boats of various sizes as well as installed on an Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV)

Multi Phase Echo Sounder (MPES)

An MPES is a great tool for obtaining full coverage survey and point cloud data in shallow water while simultaneously collecting side-scan data. Contact us with your project to see if MPES is the right tool for your project.

Side-Scan

If you are looking for a target or want to inspect underwater structures, side-scan 'sees' through the waves by casting shadows on underwater objects. This has many uses, including the ability to help search for underwater objects or create visuals that can be used for underwater inspections.

Scanning Sonar

Scanning sonar is another great tool used for inspecting underwater structures because of its' ability to scan vertically. The structures can later be analyzed using point clouds and other sonar visuals derived from the scans.
