The continued development of the Canflex Crane Load Test Bags have increased greatly the practicability, economy and safety of providing load testing on cranes in power plants, general industry, construction and marine operations. These bags can also be used as emergency fluid storage containers. During transportation and staging the bags with load cells weigh just a fraction of its rated load keeping freight costs, storage space, floor loading and especially manpower to a minimum.

Canflex Pillow Tanks are normally pillow shaped bladder tanks having a low profile. The tanks are most often used for bulk liquid storage and transportation operations around the world for storing fuel, water and chemicals, as well as being used for oil spill response / recovery. Typical clients include mining, oil and gas exploration companies, remote construction companies, helicopter operators and disaster relief operations. These tanks ensure complete isolation from surface soil and water, significantly reduce truck traffic to and from the site and increase site safety.

Canflex Truck Mountable Pillow Tanks are normally “pillow” shaped tanks having a low profile. Hydrocarbon products, drinking water, industrial chemicals, waste-water, liquid food products and a wide variety of other liquid products can be safely and efficiently stored in the Canflex Pillow Tanks. These foldable pillow shaped tanks are made for mounting on flatbed trucks or boats. These tanks, used for bulk liquid storage and transportation, store liquids similar to the standard Canflex Pillow Tank . This style of tank allows standard trucks, trailers and boats to become tankers and can be customized to suit any vehicle size, providing a volume range from 250 to 20,000 US gallons. Truck tank hold harness made of 5” reinforced webbing is included.

These bulk liquid storage tanks can be lifted by helicopters to transport fluids to remote locations. When empty, these unit collapse vertically to a fraction of their filled size. Dependable with very robust materials these tank can be used repeatedly, whether it be remote transport, hoist maintenance or hoist training.  Designed for stability, these tanks are not only ideal for transport by helicopter but also used in truck or boat mounted applications.

Canflex “Sea Slug” Ocean towable floating Bladders are secondary fluid tanks used for transport and storage of Oil Spill Recovery, Sewage Water and Chemical Spills. Used for environmental and oil spill response, these bladders are very rugged units with a cylindrical main body and matching conical ends giving them great towing characteristics. Canflex superior engineering and design combined with the high strength coated fabrics used to manufacture its bladders allow the “Sea Slugs” to be used safely for training and practical applications over an unlimited time period.

The Open Top Tanks are frameless self-rising circular “Onion” shaped reservoirs / bladders used for oil spill response, environmental operations, and spill recovery.

The Canflex Collapsible Modular Frame Tanks are foldable tanks with a quick and easy to assemble aluminum structure with liner, used for oil spill response, environmental operations, and spill recovery.

The Canflex Oil Containment Boom is a Heavy Duty boom designed for oil spill operations to use in a wide variety of conditions in sheltered water to open ocean waves.  Booms feature simple, rapid inflation, and high buoyancy to weight ratios giving them excellent wave following characteristics in demanding conditions.  Each section of the oil curtain boom is segmented into individual inflatable chambers ensuring that the boom will maintain positive buoyancy and continue to float in the event of any damage.

Beach Sealing Oil Boom is widely used for oil spill response and environmental operations. The water ballast containment booms are used to protect areas exposed to tidal flow. It is ideal for sealing land water interface in shallow waters, calm rivers or inter-tidal waters. The beach boom has two interconnected bottom water chambers (ballast) with two fill/drain water valves and one top air chamber (buoyancy/ towing) with one fill/drain air valve. All chambers have automatic relief valves which protect the unit from overpressure.

These berms are used for wash down and decontamination of equipment and personnel. In addition to functioning as a decontamination station, these berms are also used as secondary fluid containment. This product is often used in conjunction with the Canflex Pillow Tank , as well as other Canflex products.
