Recognising the key role that global carbon markets play in achieving Net Zero and unlocking climate finance, the banks came together to transform the way carbon markets are accessed.

To navigate the complexity of this emerging market, the banks introduced the structure and trust of financial systems into carbon markets.

The result of this collaboration was a carbon credit portfolio management platform that provides account holders with greater control and transparency over their credits.

Carbonplace became independent in January 2023.
