The Carrier OptiClean™ rolls easily into any room and plugs into a standard electrical outlet to quickly improve indoor air quality (IAQ) in schools, dental offices, hospitals, and other commercial facilities.

The 35BD Series high induction ratio diffusers ensure an optimum mix of incoming air with room air, ensuring comfort for room occupants from wall-to-wall and ceiling-to-floor.

Active chilled beams are flexible and enhance the savings and effectiveness of primary air systems such as those using dedicated outside air. When using Carrier chilled beams, the primary air system, which includes the dedicated outside air unit and the supply and exhaust ductwork, can be sized to handle only the required ventilation air.

The AquaSnap® 30RAP chiller is an effective all-in-one package that is easy to install and own. The chiller costs less to purchase and install than other chillers in its class, and operates quietly and efficiently. Value-added features include rotary scroll compression with optional digital compressor (010 to 090 units), Puron® refrigerant (R-410A), a low-sound AeroAcoustic™ fan system, easy to use ComfortLink™ controls, microchannel condenser coil technology, optional integrated hydronic pump package, and an accessory fluid storage tank (sizes 010-060 only).

Value-added features include rotary scroll compression, Puron® refrigerant (R-410A), a quiet AeroAcoustic™ fan system, easy to use ComfortLink™ controls, microchannel condenser coil technology, optional integrated hydronic pump package (with or without VFD), optional desuperheater, and optional high-efficiency variable condenser fans (Greenspeed® intelligence). Greenspeed intelligence results in best-in-class part-load efficiency with quiet part-load operation.

The success of the AquaEdge® 17DA is the inherent design characteristics that deliver unmatched operating cost savings to owners in both energy consumption and maintenance. Each unit is custom-built to ASME and Carrier Corporation’s quality manufacturing standards to match customer requirements and make the AquaEdge® 17DA one of the most gratifying purchases in the mechanical room. The 17DA is outside the scope of AHRI Air-Cooled Water-Chilling Packages Certification Program, but is rated in accordance with AHRI Standard 550/590 (I-P) and AHRI Standard 551/591 (SI).

The 05FY is offered as a bare compressor, as a factory-assembled compressor, as a factory-assembled 05FY compressor unit, and as a factory-assembled 07FY condensing unit when paired with a P701 condenser. Complete systems include motor, drive arrangement, control panel, and condenser as required. All components may be ordered as separate items for field assembly and installation.
