Environmental Assessments
Cascade Environmental Resource Group Ltd. regularly conducts environmental assessments for a variety of projects and applications which span a range of different sectors. Sectors for which our services have been rendered include Transportation, Resorts & Recreation, Olympics & Competition Event Planning and Power & Energy (IPP - independent power projects). CERG personnel are trained professionals with proven experience and expertise in Aquatic Ecology and Terrestrial Ecosystems.
Habitat Management
Cascade Environmental Resource Group Ltd. specializes in a variety of habitat management projects. Habitat mitigation and compensation are often a requirement of land use and development permits. The goal of many habitat management projects is to encourage wildlife breeding and foraging by constructing or rehabilitating a deteriorated habitat. CERG biologists employ site specific flora and fauna knowledge to produce custom designed habitats that seamlessly integrate into the natural environment of a specific geographic location.
Environmental Monitoring
Cascade Environmental Resource Group Ltd. provides environmental monitoring services for a variety of construction projects. Environmental monitoring by an independent Environmental Monitor (EM) is required by law whenever a construction project has potential to adversely impact aquatic environments (in-stream works, work within the riparian area) or terrestrial environments (vegetation clearings).
