Cashman Equipment Corp. (CEC) specializes in marine and general (heavy civil) construction. The Company has both the expertise and the equipment to provide the highest levels of services and products available in the marine industry.

In the wake of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, the necessity for a more efficient and effective means of collecting oil from the water’s surface was readily apparent. Out of this necessity, the Gulp series oil skimmers were created. With a total of 8 units deployed during the response, Gulp Oil Skimmers is credited with collecting a vast amount of the recovered oil.

As a complement to our existing marine fleet, Cashman Equipment has developed numerous marine accommodation units over the recent years to meet specific needs of our customer base. Since 2009 we have had two units working in the North Caspian Sea under extreme weather conditions with temperatures ranging from 100°F to -40°F with heavy icing in winter months. The units provide 588 beds, full galley and mess, infirmary, water making capabilities, sewer plant, electric generation capability and other necessary appurtenances which allow for independent autonomy on site.  The Caspian Sea is a challenging region logistically regardless of the weather.   Our client has been fully satisfied, with no interruption in services.

Cashman Equipment Corp. is global provider of salvage and wreck removal support services. With an international fleet of deck barges, tugs, cranes, accommodation barges and ancillary equipment, Cashman Equipment supports the international salvage industry by providing marine vessels and equipment for emergency response work and assisting salvage companies with the planning and execution of large wreck removal projects.  Additionally, Cashman Equipment provides logistical support to salvage companies by providing waterfront facilities for load-outs and fabrication work.

Cashman Equipment has a wide range of barge sizes from 140 to 400 feet to accommodate our clients and their project needs. These barges are located in numerous locations around the world.  The bulk of our barge fleet (75% ) is less than 5 years old and well maintained. Based on our clients’ needs, Cashman has the ability to make the barges project ready for specific requirements. Cashman has installed stanchions, load spreaders, specialized gears, etc. for our clients so that our barges meet or exceed expectations. Our team will keep the lines of communication open from beginning to end on vessel charters. Our goal is to always have a satisfied and informed client.
