CAT Squared’s Batch Mixing application enforces recipes set in a product’s specification. Operators scan and weigh raw meat and other ingredients as they are added to a batch, creating traceability records and ensuring that the correct amounts of the correct ingredients are being used. The Batch Mixing module reduces operator errors and ensures consistency and accuracy in the mixing process.

CAT Squared’s Receiving application integrates with a plant’s ERP system to receive dry goods, spices, and raw meat into the plant. All incoming items are received against production orders, labeled with a unique bar code, and placed into storage or issued to a department or production line. Touchscreen and hand-held computers are used to track the movement and consumption of all meat, dry goods, and spices in the plant, ensuring complete traceability and a real-time inventory.

CAT Squared’s Food Safety and Quality Management (FSQM) module is a robust and versatile data collection application, allowing companies to collect paperless HACCP, food safety, quality, downtime, plant monitoring, and facility data.
