Process Design Services
The CATACARB Process can be tailored to comply to a myriad of design constraints for grassroots projects. We can offer different process configurations and solution additives to hit targets including (but not limited to) equipment sizes/plot space, utility consumption, CO2 removal, and process gas/recovered acid gas water contents. Process design packages from Eickmeyer & Associates, Inc. include process summaries, material balances, process performance/efficiency guarantees, operating instructions/control philosophies, and relevant equipment datasheets for the CO2 removal section. Process designs and know-how are furnished under license to engineering contractors and operating companies. These firms handle the detailed engineering and equipment specifications, which E&A checks for approval with respect to process guarantees.
Hpc Simulation Services
Using data from 150+ CATACARB plants and a deep understanding of mass transfer, momentum transfer, thermodynamics, and solution chemistry, we have created a proprietary HPC simulation that allows for high confidence in our designs and recommendations. This empirically driven program has been heavily tested over the decades and allows us to accurately guarantee the performance and efficiencies of our CATACARB process designs and gives us confidence in our operating recommendations, equipment designs, and material balances.
