Catator - Catalytic Emissions Abatement Systems

We offer turn-key abatement systems based on either regenerative or recuperative catalytic technology. Both systems are extremely compact, compared to conventional systems, since the systems are based on our unique and patented mesh technology.

MeshRegenOx - Regenerative Catalytic Oxidizer System

The MeshRegenOx system is a regenerative catalytic oxidizer unit. The possibility to oxidize organic compounds at low temperatures is combined with the high thermal efficiency of a regenerative heat exchange system. The result is a compact and efficient abatement system with low operation cost.

Catator - Mesh Catalysts

The mesh catalysts can be installed in various applications, and also as a retrofit installation, where it is impossible to use conventional alternatives such as monolith and pellet based catalysts. This due the very high degree of shape flexibility. We can offer a number of different type of mesh catalyst, all depending on the type of application. One perfect example of shape flexibility is presented in the figure below. The figure shows a radiant burner equipped with our three-way catalyst for NOx reduction. The customer did not have to change anything in the burner design. We could install the catalyst by laser cutting the mesh catalyst so it could be mounted on the "star-shaped" burner.

Catator - Catalyst Technology

Minimum catalyst. Maximum performance. A compact reactor with high efficiency. A catalyst you can bend and shape to fit just about any configuration. The electron microscope picture, to the right, shows the porous surface layer of the mesh after using our patented manufacturing process. The high mechanical stability of the catalyst is verified by a variety of tests, both by us but especially by customers.
